A bit concerning that our form form for 2019 is really poor.

The CL run may have distracted from the downward spiral we have been on in the league for quite some time.

Poch needs to turn this around quickly.

Can't help but feel Poch's heart isn't really in it anymore. 100% something going on behind the scenes. Vertonghen, Davies and Eriksen have to start next week.

No identity, no intensity, no idea.

The problem is with Sissoko is not even he knows where he is putting the ball so players can't position themselves well for the chances!

Fair enough but top strikers shouldn’t miss chances like that
Especially the Lucas one

Awful. Really didn’t threaten that much. Defend deep against us and there’s nothing we can really do.

We’ve been going backwards for a long time now. Worrying

It's game's like these (and a lot of our previous lease games stretching to last season) where you wonder what the fuck we do in training. It's worrying how clueless we've been for so long.

This doesn't look good on Poch at all, the fact that we've shown no improvement in facing teams who sit back like this. Far too easy for teams to do this against us.

We just don't look formidable any more at all.
We have nothing out wide we have zero creativity through the middle and we.dont press like we used to. It's not like the players don't have the blueprint on how to properly execute.agaimst bus parking teams with Liverpool and City. Your right just not looking good for poch right now.

Absolutely awful today. Cannot remember Kane playing worse. Other than Hugo, Lo Celso (early days) and Son (first game back) there are no excuses. Winks, Walker-Peters and Sissoko seemed scared to make a decision. Sanchez was woeful. Hard to know where we go from here.

This has just got to be down to dressing room problems. No-one looking like they can be arsed. No tactics, seemingly.
I was beginning to think that for some stupid reason we were purposely using the first half of
games to suss out the opposition.
Very worrying display in every way. As a few people have said.....something is very wrong about the attitude and desire of the players and of Poch. Maybe he isn’t so happy with the way the signings were late (apart from Ndombele). The info was that he wanted players bought in early. Erikson is unbalanced, Lo Celso not fit. Dele injured. Sessegnon who knows. Jan who knows what’s going on there. Somebody needs to take a grip of this team and give them some bloody passion to play for Spurs.

I'm not one of the ones calling for Poch to go by any means, but there seems to be real bad vibes coming from the club since he said he would go if we won CL. I always get uncomfortable watching his pressers, just waiting for him to get narked at something.

Boos are a perfectly valid response to a performance and result like that today. Our fans pay the highest prices in the world, and players should be rewarded with booing from the crowd if they serve that bullshit up to them.
I'm not sure about booing but the money is irrelevant. According to that logic the more you pay the more you can Express your unhappiness? That is a slippery slope.

We were appallingly bad today though to be fair those that did boo.

So frustrating and Poch keeps making the same dumb mistakes.

With the players out there we should be doing a lot better and playing a lot better.

And his handling of the Vertonghen situation is an absolute joke.

I just hope once our new players are all fully fit it freshens up our staleness (if Poch lasts that long), although if he plays them in a diamond I may have to seek him out and head butt him lol.

Something clearly isn’t working out there. Two create a mere smattering of chances against a team that will probably be fighting to stay up is all kinds of wrong. I thought last year’s inconsistency and turgidness was a blip. But three games in and it’s more of the same.

Yes, Poch bears some of the blame. But he’s not responsible for Lucas and Kane being unable to convert simple chances. Or get our players to stop making silly mistakes. That’s on them.

These guys need to take a long hard look at themselves and decide if they want to fight or just keep doing the same lethargic shit.

The whole team stands still all the time are they supposed to move when Eriksen comes on to make him look better?

No nut he finds the passes noone else can find so if you run into the pockets he will find you. We looked much better with him on the pitch.

So many touches by any given player and they just sit there two banks of four, you're playing in front of them and they're letting you.

He needs to find a formation and fucking stick to it. He needs to find as best as possible, injuries etc. a starting fucking 11 and persist with it.

I don't pretend to have the first fucking clue what is/has/might be going on behind the scenes but for fuck sake either make a stand and banish the players you have an issue with or fucking play them and swallow your fucking pride.

The way we're setting up, I am beginning to wonder if he is doing it intentionally or not, it didn't work last time, but let's try it again for it only to go tits up.

We've fuck all identity currently, we don't either press or sit off, we don't know whether to pass and move or go direct and players don't seem to have the first fucking clue about spacial awareness at the moment - if I have to look up and see Kane with Moura in his back fucking pocket I'm going to punt something.

This is a bad result against a poor footballing team who at least knew what was expected out of them, it'd be nice if our starting eleven looked even the slightest bit cohesive when they take to the pitch.

Fuck a duck am I annoyed.

This really could go very downhill very quickly now. We have been pretty terrible in our 3 games this season, but in reality this stretches back into last season, something is clearly wrong behind the scenes. The desire and camaraderie seems to have evaporated, Poch's press conferences are becoming more Cantona, he will be following trawlers and such like soon.

The truth is I don't think this is much different to previous versions of the side, however well we've deemed they have done or good times they've given us, or because of supposed goings on behind the scenes. We've always played like this really, slow passing around the back and shuffled out to the fullbacks, rinse and repeat. Attacking structures and constructing possession through the centre has been lacking and a weakness of the team, in the final third we've always been fairly individualistic and waiting for that moment where combos click and we find a breakthrough.

Now teams are just packing the defence more and more and sitting off us, and certain individuals have lost their spark, it becomes even more highlighted. We desperately need a bit more of a template and clear idea as to how we move the ball through the lines, where players should be on the pitch, how they then interlink with others etc. and put possession together.

Whatever we are doing isn't working, and that's just our use of the ball and not what we're doing when we lose it.... Basically everything about our play and tactical idea needs freshening up.

Something is very very wrong at our football at the moment. We where shocking last week against Man City and could have conceded 8! I was worried about this game all week, as another poster said this is starting to look more and more like a AVB team. We normally start any season slowly but performances have been in decline over the past 12 months, we were so so lucky to even get top 4 last season. It was more down to the ineptitude of Arsenal rather than the brilliance of Pochettino or the players. Disgusting rotten game today, Pochettino should be fecking ashamed tonight. ???
