I'm increasingly impressed by Winks. So nice to see someone who moves the ball quickly in midfield after years of watching Dier taking an age to move the ball on.

It's hard work against a team that sits back and has so many defending, but I don't think any of our attacking players are bang on it and Moura and Eriksen in particular are disappointing so far. Everything about our play has to be sharper in order to make openings. I'd also like to see us get a shot off if there is the opportunity and show a bit more intent.

Defensively we have switched off a few times, and Newcastle are another team that are using switches of play against us to quite good effect.

Just needs to go up a gear or two across the park really. I'd expect Rose and Llorente to be on quite soon if things continue as they are.

How the hell can you put Lamela’s performance on par with Eriksen’s today? He hasn’t misplaced a single pass, created by far our best chance, hit the bar with an instinctive header, and his one corner landed on the head of Sanchez.

Eriksen, on the other hand, has just about stepped onto the pitch.

Lamela looks hungry for the ball. Interested in moving forwards. His touch and enthusiasm is good.
Eriksen has been so careless. If you compare this showing of his to his full capability, Eriksen is distinctly below average. A very poor run of performances
At least Lamela is trying

I thought we were brilliant that half, only thing missing is a goal. Jan has been exceptional on the left despite his lack of mobility.

I wouldnt say brilliant but been good - shame we had not scored early on

Get Llorente on, we actually get space out wide here and can cross

How the feck can anyone disagree with that?

Think we've played OK, things just haven't fallen for us, I'd give it 15 then if no change get Llorente on for Moura who's not had a great half.

get Son and Lamela involved a bit more around the box as they're the ones creating danger.

Eriksen's issues seem to be when he doesn't spot an obvious option and puts in hopeful balls (this includes set pieces) they're always woefully short but you can see when he spots a pass, he can/will make it an an array of ways more often than not.

Need to get Son back out on the left - has been lost through the middle. Trippier is utter shite! Sissoko could play at RWB.

I'm tempted to think that if getting Isco as a part of Eriksen deal is a reality, then we should try to do it.

un real amount of crosses were putting in today, its a toss up between Eriksen and Moura to come off for Llorente

Eriksen does hit the first man a lot but those are the ones that bring the most goals if we can get on the end of it

Much prefer those then the lofty safe ones

Llorente should come on at HT for Lucas and have eriksen deeper alongside winks and have sissoko make those Dele runs as long as we have no intention to play him in

Moura and Eriksen need to wake up.

Somehow Vertonghen's crossing is better than both Rose's and Davies'.
