Looking forward to another OG special from Jones. Not Long before he breaks Carra’s OG record.

This match is all about scoring enough goals. They will score on us, it is inevitable. Clean sheet is unlikely, so in the event of 1-0, we need to play as if it is 0-0.

General consensus on Redcafe last time I looked...

If Smalling plays they'll surrender possession from the get-go, he can't play out from the back with ball at his feet.

However, they also think they're doomed if Jones starts. They reckon they'll smash us in Midfield and don't rate Winks at all. :stop:

Alot of emphasis has been put on their attack and the supposed freedom Ole-Gunnar has allowed the players to express themselves.

I too personally think their defence is shite, Midfield often sees Pogba blow hot and cold, and as for their attack...I'd like to think we are more resolute in the defensive department compared to the relegation flirters they've faced of late to go on this 'amazing run"

Centre Midfield worries me today against Chelsea the other night we were dominated in the midfield. Really looked like we need to freshen up in his area which as we know due to injuries isn’t possible at the mo.

Could do with Harry going into 'beast mode' for this one

He hasn't done that for a while, so would be good to see again

Id drop alli into cm along with eriksen and play lamela. Will help us dominate the play whilst keeping son snd kane up top.

-------------------Hugo-----------------
Aurier--Toby--Sanchez--Rose
------Alli----Sissoko---Eriksen---
------------------Lamela----------------
---------------Son-----Kane-----------

Play that team and we win.

I'm just hoping we don't gift them with the sometimes witnessed, indecisive and pressure creating, sloppy play when attempting to play out from the back.

Just a win will do me 1-0 in off Harry's nob I couldn't care less as long as we win.

Obviously 8-0 would be nice though

Someone needs to call the doctor to redcafe, alot of Thorazine needs handing out to treat the mass delusion.

To quote:- " I am going us for the win.. its Ole and its Spurs. been this optimistic for us playing a good team in a long time.. Jones to be motm and Pogba and Martial to tear Spurs apart. 3-1 utd."

Being partizan and supporting your club is one thing. But really? Jones motm? Spurs get torn apart? Theres more chance of pigs growing wings and flying.
If we lose it will be because we failed to turn up, with our marbles intact like at wolves. Not because its Manure.

Our weakest area is Winks in CM, unfortunately he can get muscled off the ball. Everyone knows I'm not his biggest fan yet, I really want to see him step up and dictate a game in the middle.

United's defence is atrocious. Our defence is better than United's and our attack is better.

It will be a tough game but one we should win if we turn up. In fact, I could see us giving them a good smashing actually if we are clinical. They give up tons of chances, and I refuse to believe OGS is some amazing coach who will have United beat us tactically. I've woken up in a really confident mood today.

ignore United's league position and all that has gone before because they are flying on their confidence levels right now.

True but so are we. 8 wins from our last 10 and a draw away to Barcelona which felt like a win under the circumstances. Wins against Arsenal and Chelsea. An average of 2.9 goals per game. While United’s biggest test since OGS arrived and has been against Newcastle. They’re clearly a decent team and are looking revitalised since the departure of the special one, but if we perform to our potential we needn’t fear them.

This is man uniteds first real test after OGS came in as manager. So important for us to win.
We are the better team, lets show people that.

At the moment his biggest trait to me seems to be to just keep the ball moving. Sometimes that may be just something we need, but other times like now, where we're so short in the middle and we seem to be getting so little from there, it at times doesn't feel like enough. I don't think you'll see him dictate a game any time soon, but then again I remember when that was a gripe with even Eriksen, so hopefully he will just continue to develop.

Like I've said before, for me it's just the element of unknown that has me worried with United. With the players United have, the results they've been getting against those particular opposition are ones they should be getting, so its hard to gauge whether they're excelling in their play, or just playing at a general level, because they were massively underperforming under Mourinho.

I still just think it's more about us than them, when Chelsea came here unbeaten in the league we thought it would be very tough and we raised our level and swept them aside. Hopefully it will be a similar type of performance today. For some reason I just feel like we'll either beat them fairly convincingly, or they will shock us and pull out the win, no in-between!

Fucking hate being the last game on in the weekend though, is the same again next weekend too :banghead:

That's what I said, and it will be tough and I also said we need to be at the top of our game, fear is no bad thing cowardice is, I think if we remember all of that we'll win.

Pogba's the danger IMO. If we can get Dele on him when he's deep and Sissoko to duff him up if he gets further forward we can shut him down.

I think Sissoko might let him out of his pocket for a half time cup of tea then back in he goes..
