Bloody hell, he's not having much luck this year!

Having a fresh scar in a soft tissue must be frightening when involved in high level physicality.

My scar was a lot worse than a normal scar and I was terrified just being out in public for years.

When a top team plays against a middle team and chances are even, it is very likely the top team wins, because:
A: top teams have better finishers
B: top teams have better goalkeepers.

When a team gets ahead, It is likely that the other team will have more posession and more chances - just the modern tactic of going on the counters (ref Sons goal).

IF Leicester had equalized on the pen, it is very possible that we had started dominating again and won anyway...

(Not facts, just my opinion...)

I've just seen the summing up on MOTD2 and I don't know what slowmotion replays that Jenas and Shearer were watching but how is that they can come to the conclusion that Sonny's penalty incident was a dive. Did they not see Maguire's drag his ankle back which was the crucial movement and contact that brought Son to the ground? I would also go so far as to add thsy Maguire knew exactly what he was doing there with that drag back to trip Son. No comment from them as to whether Maddison's was a penalty which replays show it clearly wasn't. Justice was done with Hugo's penalty save.

If Son had just brought his left leg through (as would have been more natural than what he did with it), he would have stumbled before going down and it would have looked a whole lot less "divey".

I don't think the Leicester one was any more of a penalty.

No the club shouldn't get upset, because the referee will just say he thought it was. It is utterly pointless to waste any time or energy complaining about it, and I'd rather they were focusing on the team's performances good or bad rather than the irrelevant creeping into their minds.

We're also well capable through certain players of drawing fouls from not much (and, lets be honest, sometimes no) contact. Sometimes it goes in your favour, sometimes it doesn't.

Neither was a penalty for me, that he decided to give the Leicester one is infuriating, it's for fans to get irate, footballers and coaches get on with their fucking jobs.

when a ref has a shit game the club should definitely complain, so he goes to ref time out or whatever they do.

In all honesty, I dont think it was a dive but dont think it was a penalty... then again the Maddison one wasnt a penalty either nor was it a dive. Both incidents there was contact however...

What is annoying although im not angry at all is the inconsistency

Trippier made my piss boil today, positionally caught out time and again you’d of thought the penny would’ve dropped after the 3rd or 4th time

It’s suicide playing him in a 4, especially without Dier in front to drop in and cover

I don't think it's a coincidence that he's had a shaky season when we've been playing a diamond in midfield - we've been getting results with it but I'm generally not a fan of this system. Who knows though - without it Sissoko might not be having such a good campaign.

I see it the other way:
We have looked better and more solid with 4 at the back than 5 (3).

Today we went from decent control, to a total mess when Tony came on (not toby’s fault). No press and we couldn’t find eachother when we had the ball...

Watford game also comes to mind, where I think we changed to 4 and then the game turned...

Bang on.

If he plays at Anfield or at City we'll get raped.

Yeah its clear. I don't know if its because we have too many defenders on and cant keep the ball high up the pitch or if our full backs don't get back as quick as they should. For example today for the Harvey Barnes chance, Trippier was stood in midfield and only started to retreat once Barnes was through.

Been waiting fkin years for a Spurs manager to show some balls like that.
This is why we constantly get bent over the barrel, we never speak up.
'3 Monday night fixtures on the bounce when in a title race?? Ahh fk them its only Spurs they wont say anything.'
And they're bloody right, we dont.
EVERY big success chasing club moan when they feel hard done by, and sometimes even when they dont and they do it because next match the ref will be a little bit more cautious as he wont want to be publicly thrown into the spotlight by his superiors after his shit decision is back page.
But if you just keep getting shafted week after week and say nothing then it'll continue.
Well done Poch.
Well done.
Fergie was the master of that

Imagine Fergies Man U chasing Leicester like we were and getting 3 Mon night fixtures on the bounce!
I dont fkin think so somehow.
I loved Redknapp but even he used to just brush it off and not wanna make a fuss when we were blatantly getting shat on.
Our opening games always being away from home, I'd like us to moan about that as well.
Moan moan fkin moan lol.

Rose and Trippier were both getting caught to far up the pitch to be fair.
We are so open down the wings with 5 at the back it scares me.
Its really 3 at the back instead of 4.

Chances weren't even though and we never dominated the game at any stage.

Poch on Son booking
It was unbelievable, unbelievable. When you compare the situation with the penalty for Leicester, unbelievable. That’s what I said to Michael. Then you look at Liverpool and the last minute. Same referee. I’m more relaxed because we won. Do you think that we’re a team trying to cheat a referee? Come on, we’re one of the nicest teams on the pitch.
love it to see him finally give a ref some shit....means more coming from Poch
