Anyone else think Sanchez goal celebration was... well, bizarre.
He looked like he didn't realise he'd scored and took about 20 secs to start smiling and celebrating.
He did take a bit of a whack directly after heading the ball so I wondered if that may have hurt and he was fkin pissed off, thinking what fk did that.
He really looked like he didnt know he had scored.

But everyone was going ape shit and he was like 'oh fk, cats died.'
I dont think he wasn't happy. I think he looked like he didn't know what had happened.
It was weird.

They play some lovely football and have all year really - without getting results.

The Leicester fans hate Puel but you can see what he's trying to achieve.

Thought they played as well as anyone we've faced at Wembley this season tbh

Yeah completely agree. Them and Wolves have impressed me most this year with their attitude and system.

Wow, Poch is PISSED OFF

Been waiting fkin years for a Spurs manager to show some balls like that.
This is why we constantly get bent over the barrel, we never speak up.
'3 Monday night fixtures on the bounce when in a title race?? Ahh fk them its only Spurs they wont say anything.'
And they're bloody right, we dont.
EVERY big success chasing club moan when they feel hard done by, and sometimes even when they dont and they do it because next match the ref will be a little bit more cautious as he wont want to be publicly thrown into the spotlight by his superiors after his shit decision is back page.
But if you just keep getting shafted week after week and say nothing then it'll continue.
Well done Poch.
Well done.

Some strange comments in here today about us being lucky and not deserving the 3 points.

Were we at our best today? No, but then it’s hard to be at your best with such a biased and incompetent referee and linesman.

Bottom line is that we defended fairly well, against a pacy attack, battled till the end against a decent Leicester side who are more than capable of upsetting the top teams and crucially, we took our chances and Leicester did’nt.

Agree would've been more comfortable but for the ref. But if you can't score you don't deserve anything.
Also hearing the "win ugly "quote.
To me winning ugly is playing all the anti football tricks and stifling opponents with negative tactics but winning.

I suspect Poch wants to kick off at his team given how crap we were today, but that will have happened in the changing room. The ref had a poor game overall and so he can be the target for a bit of letting off steam. Still doesn't convince me it was a pen.

Very weird assessment of the situation. You are by all means entitled to your own opinion, but to believe that was a yellow for diving is very far out...

Not a penalty - I disagree, but is no disgrace if not given.

I checked the stats after 30 mins cause I couldn’t believe my eyes:
freekicks for: 0
Freekick against: 8

Just a final comment, booking someone for diving should be when the ref clearly sees it’s a dive. Players quickly get a very negative reputation unlike other cheating tricks in the book...

Back from the game and a bit bemused by some of the " we were lucky" remarks, we weren't lucky we deserved the win but it wasn't easy, Leicester had a couple of great chances to score again but either they weren't good enough or our keeper was too good and he is one of our players but most of their chances and Hugo's saves were pretty routine to be honest.
That said I am not knocking Leicester, they played well, they worked hard, they made their chances and at least they tried to score unlike anyone else we've played for a while so respect to them.
We weren't great today but we weren't that bad and we were the better side, I was bemused by the Toby sub, presumably Poch decided to go three at the back to stiffen things up but it made us light in the middle and Leicester took advantage by taking control of the midfield, thankfully Poch saw that, brought on Wanyma and evened it up again, it worked well.
We were clearly working on the basis that Leicester would throw the kitchen sink at us and so there would be space for Sonny to exploit, the fact that that is exactly what led to the third goal was not lucky, it was the game we were playing and we executed it perfectly, credit where it's due.
now for the referees, how does an experienced referee have a game like that? He didn't award one foul against Leicester in the entire first half, that's ok if justified and if he balanced it but he didn't, he blew for fouls by us that were no worse and the linesmen were guessing on whether the ball went out and then who's throw it was, it really was a bit of a joke.
Anyway, we won and the sun started to shine when we left.

Absolute joke the ref and linesman who was up the end we were defending first half. he was as so far behind the play, there were several Leicester attacks that looked offside and weren't given, yet he put his flag up for sonny every time. He looked at the ref every time there was a throw in before putting his flag up the signalled he agreed.
Llorente was being pushed and held all game but didn't receive one free kick. Maddison didn't get booked for his dive towards the end of the first half. Ref added on so much time at the end of the first half while Leicester were attacking.

we have seen some crappy refs this year but this one takes the biscuit!
