Had to watch the match delayed due to work but what a result. Poch, for all you moaning about our lineup, got it right. Eriksen, Son and Dier got some rest and we got the result we wanted. Bringing Son and Eriksen on fresh changed the game. Eriksen showed his intent right after coming on with the free kick that Vert had a chance on. Son immediately was running the channels and stretching their D.

For any of you who have not, read pages 13-25 for a pretty good laugh. Have some faith guys, a match is 90+ minutes and doesn't end part way through the 2nd half.

And Robbie Savage going on and on about it wound me up, wanted to turn him off during the game. Then at the end of the game after the manager was justified he says something like '..well I suppose that's why he gets the big bucks..''. Just admit Robbie you were blinkered in your view and took a shot term outlook like some of the whingers on here do.

Ian Darke made a comment in the first minute of the match along the lines of, "you can see from Pochettino's selection that he's got one eye on Arsenal."

Clearly not paid one iota of attention to our team selections or overall player form this season.

The vast majority of commentators are commentating because they either failed as coaches/Managers or didn’t have the guts to try.

I was happy to see winks, Lamela and Moara start. They're good players. You shouldn't have to worry about the team gelling when you play 2 matches a week. You use the squad. You play fresh legs and run the other team ragged. If your not winning after 60odd minutes then bring on a bit of class to give us the advantage. To think of the damage it would do this squad to not rotate.

They're not going to accept sitting on the bench every week. Moara did last year but no way would he this year. Lamela plays once a week for injury reasons. Winks is too good not to play regularly and he knows it.

The odd injury might not be such a bad thing at times cos it stops players getting unsettled.

Besides, supporters should realise they only have an idea about what goes on day to day at the club and just trust Poch more. We all agree he's quite good at it.

Really could be an incredibly weak Barcelona team if they rest 1st xi. They have 5 or 6 injured and not the biggest squad. Could easily be 5 or 6 youth players.

Just wondering. I couldn’t see because it was down the far end from me but could we have had a penalty in the first half on Lucas or was it nothing?
Seen them given, but not stonewall. Lucas was already on the way down when the Inter player stuck his leg across him.

In last season's Champions League campaign, Barcelona rested Messi & Iniesta while playing Vermaelen in their last game against Sporting Lisbon.

They had already won their group which included Juventus too.

They'll have a good attacking 3 in Dembele, Malcom and Munir if they rest their best team.
They will definitely struggle in midfield and defence.

I dont think I'd ever refer to a Barca team as incredibly weak though.
I expect they'll have a few first teamers involved. They'll be tough but definitely beatable.

But dembele is currently a starter with Suarez injured. They have a cup game next week I think it will be pretty much same team they select for that. They also only have 4 defenders with umtiti vermalean roberto injured.

Dembele isn't a starter atm, Squarez is only out with a knock so will likely be back for Espanyol. Dembele is still very much trying to get a regular starting spot so I fancy him to start against us.
Vermaelen is due back early December so could be back in time.
