Not sure where Mason fits, I suppose a rest for Dier?

You think Mason can play the DM?

I think it was Bentaleb who played the more defensive role during their largely successful CM pairing last year. Mason's more of a box to box but probably better going forward than defending a great deal.

I think he can play the holding role Dier plays or where Dembele plays. Seems like he's been almost fit for a few games now so it'll be good to see him back in the squad. If we keep going in the cups we will need to use more players so let's get them all fit.

I'd rest alli for this one
I think this may be very sensible, just because of that dizzy spell. I was looking at him after he was subbed and he didn't look ill. I do hope that this spell has nothing to do with his heart, and in all likelihood it probably doesn't. That said, I would prefer it if he returned after he had had all his tests done.

Pissing sideways with 50 mph winds isn't going to complement our style of play! I really hope the players turn up for this one, cause it isn't going to be easy!

It was anything but a successful pairing from a defensive point of view. In fact, I'd say it was more of a shambles. Alderweireld has made a big difference, but IMO it's the defensive responsibility Dier has taken on which has given us the best defense in the League. Dembele is the next best in Dier's position.

Also Dier is still looking very fit so no need to give him rest in PL games

With the rise of Alli and Dier, and the resurgence of Dembele, I feel like Mason has almost become a bit of a forgotten man for a lot of people.

I think his return to fitness will play a big role in our final third of the season.
