I hope Kane gets the knod ahead of Bobby. He deserves a run in the side.

He is our only striker who looks like scoring net a lone he is our top goal scorer, not sure how he would do upfront a lone but I think when your main strikers have a goal each in open play poch must be debating it.

Funny how many wrote him off this time last year, brad in an article says his the best finisher at spurs, goes to show don't write young players off to quickly they need time. He will also bulk up and get a lot stronger really hope he can start to bully defenders. He seems like a top lad with a good sense of humour.

I will openly say I was one of those that didn't think he was good enough for a starting position for us if we want to be knocking on the top 4,i stand by that.
HOWEVER ....out of the strikers we have he has moved himself up from bottom to top of the list, with his current form.
I always said he was good enough for a squad player and will get better.

But credit where its due,he's been playing well and scoring some great goals.
Can he play the lone striker role .....hmmm,not so sure, think he looks better just behind and and rotating with the lone striker....which allows him more freedom and be able to pick the ball up 20yrds or so out and look to create some room for a shot.

Anyway team for me

Hugo
Dier Kaboul Verts Rose
Capoue Dembele
Lamela Eriksen/Mason Chadli
Kane

Think Dembele was a unsung hero on Thursday.....he broke the play up many times and his sheer strength winning balls back when shoulder to shoulder with players was unreal.
Eriksen for me ....seems to drift in and out alittle atm and that's why I put either him or mason in that role.
But anytime during the game the other could come on for the starter or if kane not doing well on his own then chadli could come off ...push eriksen inside left and push bobby or ade up top and drop kane behind.

Either way lots of options with the players we have......BUT we must win this game, specially after the euro game....just to break the hoodoo of this losing most games after a midweek euro game.

He has to play Kane. He's the only stiker we have that's scoring goals. Simple as that.

I don't doubt your enthusiasm for him to start but as a lone striker Bobby and Ade are far more effective. Secondly Newcastle although not playing great this season are a lot better than the pub team we faced on Thursday.

I'm still unconvinced on Kane as the lone striker. Yes he's been playing well and scoring goals but that has been as a second striker with Ade/Soldado up top. If he is to play then maybe at the expense of Eriksen Lamela or Chadli as a sub.
I would prefer the front 4 from the City game. Thought they worked really well as a unit.
As long as we return to winning in the PL I'm not that fussed who plays.

Yes and Paulinho couldnt even get a place on the bench against a pub team, let alone play for a team in the top 4, seems nobody rates him but you!

I have been wanting to see Kane and Bobby together since late last season. I personally would stick with Bobby until he hits form. I like his developing link up play, and nearly every volley hits the target, he is sooo close to becoming the player we thought.

I don't know what to expect with the team. Capoue played in mid week, are we a chance of seeing Stambouli?

I think we will see Soldado, Eriksen and Chadli start given that both Kane and Adebayor featured mid-week.

That's too sensible an argument for Spurs:)

Got to persevere a little with the Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela, Soldado front four now that it's finally been tried (quite successfully)

Thought I'd share my story regarding a Newcastle game.
It was January, my b'day, and I bought an extra ticket.
I couldn't fit 3 in my van at the time so had additional cost of hiring a car (coming from Suffolk), still cheaper than a train for 3 of us.
We lost 1-3 and I had the pleasure of Ohmyfanny Martins banging a few in under my nose.
Came out the game to find a parking ticket slapped on the windscreen.
Got home and paid the bugger early so cost £40 not £60.
Few weeks later I get a letter from hire car company saying I'd had another ticket, not the one Id paid but an earlier one at the same spot (wrote to council as this is illegal but got f in nowhere), that was now overdue so the full 60 was to be paid plus an additional £30 admin charge.
Worst, most expensive b'day ever.
I hope we f in batter them tomorrow.

If you actually read what Poch has said about Paulinho on this very site then you would realise how stupid and childish your post is.

Wind ya neck back in and stop trolling.
