If we played one of the 'big 4' each week we'd be title contenders at this rate. Kind of. Well 5 points from 3 games is ok.

how about some love for Zokora? picked out a nice pass to spring Bentley for the winner.

i thought zokora was supposed to be a workhorse with absolutely no skill!??

there explodes that myth eh:)

Don't agree, one good pass in more than 50 games does not make him a good player. Along with Hudd/O'hara they must be replaced in the summer with players of quality.

I watched the game online, but will there be extended highlights on Football First later? I checked the guide and it seems our game is not listed.:-|

Setanta games don't show on Football First. Very annoying as I don't have Setanta so got to make do with 5 min Motd highlights.

IMO no better win than a good old smash'n'grab. When you've played 65 minutes, you're 1-0 down, and it looks like it's only going to get worse, and then the Scouse **** himself pops up for the equaliser.

At least we're finally starting to get our money's worth with Pavlyuchenko and Bentley. 3 assists, a 40 yard lob against the gooners, and bundles of classic quotes. Could this have been a better week for our number 5?

I wish I was at the game today but still feeling smug.

Just finished watching the game at the pub, I live in Liverpool now as I married a scouser. Watched the game with all the in laws who are reds and my father in law stormed out of the pub when pav scored, he won't return my calls now.

All week I've had "gonna be taught a lesson" "beaten by the champs". I'm like a pig in shit. We were lucky but I am so proud. COYS!!!!!!!!!

Mr Redknap
Right changes, right time, well done sir. Certainly seems to make more sense to both the players and us than Juande ever did

We did think that Ramos' subs were brilliant when he first arrived though......damn it who cares, 7 from 9 will do for me

lol, No!

I give Zoko a lot of stick but I know he has his fans so when he plays I try to watch him very closely.

Thought he was awful first half today. Stifled creativity, continually passed it backwards and left teammates in vulnerable positions with short hard sideways passes to them in tight spots. Tackled badly and positionally left some big holes in the middle of the pitch.

Second half I thought he improved. He seemed to calm down more and was'nt so anxious to get rid of the ball. In addition he provided some cover for the back for and seemed to tighten things up a bit. Amazingly possibly his first forward pass in a Spurs shirt turned into somethin...he should try passing forward more often.

All in all he redeemed himself second half but he is still a painful limited mediocre footballer to me.

Thudd is starting to really impress me and I feel he will just get better and better so Id really like to see us continue with Thudd and Jenas as our midfield two with Modric taking on the free role. I think that works very well.

Zokora is mediocre, all players will have a moment of quality every now and then. Doing it regularly is the hard bit.

To be fair that applied to the whole team in the first half...

Agree with you on that, though...
