Does anyone know why Everton v MC was played on Wed while we have had 8 days off? Then come Sunday we play Lei then 3 days later we play Dortmund!

It is the game they were scheduled to play the weekend of the League Cup final. It was brought forward to an open week which has benefited City in the short term.

Poor Jansen can’t get a break. The next league he could possibly feature in is the one Kane will be potentially back for

It's the game they would have played if it wasn't for the League Cup final, it was moved forward rather than back.

Still another example of the PL not helping out clubs in the CL. No need for our game to be on Sunday. Could have been a Friday night even this week (not even one PL team being afforded that luxury!)

TV broadcasters dictate KO times - Not PL. Not interested in fans or player welfare. Revenue top priority!!

Janssen joins list of absentees? His reintegration to the first team going well then. Already injured
