'all are being closely monitored to ascertain if they’re ready to come back into the fray.'

Very interesting choice of words and no mentions of injuries....

Are they suggesting we won't be starting with the same starting 11 as last week?
That is surprising o_O

He should probably pick something close to the side that beat Hull. I'd especially like to see Kane and Soldado up front, Fazio and Vertonghen in tandem at the back, and Dembele and Mason in the middle. They all have some downsides, but I'd like that spine in front of Lloris.

Then the other four are up for grabs and could remain the same as the Hull game. Dier is on dodgy ground, so maybe he's the one to be switched. Chadli has chipped in with some decent goals, and so his return to fitness may cause a dilemma for Poch.

Eriksen should be a banker to satrt too, even at the risk of slight imbalance when we don't have possession causing Davies some exposure.

Hopefully Everton will be a man down by half time, which seems to suit our style!

Not Dembele, please! I would consider Azza as it will stop at least one full back from attacking us. Bentaleb and Mason should provide good cover for the defence. I'd bring on Chadli later.

Hugo
Ciriches Fazio Verts Rose
Mason Eriksen
Azza Lamela
Kane
Soldado

Having said that, the formation is weak in the middle and Mason could be overrun.

1. There's no RB.
2. Chiriches is no RB.
3. See - I can spell 'Chiriches' -- you can't, apparently.
4. You mention Bentaleb, then replace him with Eriksen?

Yes, my spelling of Romanian surnames needs working on, but Vlad played pretty decently at right back against Hull. I doubt Naughton can play as he got a straight red. So impale yourself on that, multumesc.
I did replace Bentaleb, because I changed my mind. I did point out that I thought that my formation would be overrun in midfield, but it was just written down on the hoof. I was trying to fit in Azza, or Aaron Lennon as you would write.
Now, you can go untwist your trolleys.

I think we may see 433 against Everton:

Lloris
Dier Fazio Verts Rose
Stambouli
Mason Eriksen
Lamela Kane Chadli
With Eriksen asked to drop deeper into CM and the defensive line told not to overlap too often, or at least Dier staying deep to counteract Baines.
If we have to go for it later, Soldado could come on to support Kane and we'll switch to 4231. COYS!
