Well it's gonna be tough with the contract you signed. Unless he has a truly superb season, people will always wander whether spending the substantial amount of money Palace will want will be worth it. I think he'll good wherever he goes but for the money they'll want you'd want nigh on consistently high standards, with many great games/ match winning performances. I'm not saying he can't be that man, I just have slight doubts, which would make me apprehensive about parting with my cash. I actually think no will pull the trigger for a few more years when until his contract has run down a bit.

I honestly don't think he's worth either the fee he'd cost, or the wages he's on.

Currently £130k p/w & potentially upwards of £50m to get Palace to consider selling.

I refuse to believe there aren't better options out there for that sort of investment.

I think Zaha would do very well at Spurs and I would be pleased if we signed him, but unless we are planning on a big net spend ( which is not going to happen imo) then we have far more pressing needs in the squad.

I would rather us sign Wan-Bissaka - young, bags of pace, skilful and a couple of inches taller than Trippier.

Zaha has never fully convinced me. His asset is, obviously, his pace, but he doesn't score enough goals; however, that may be because he is playing in a Roy Hodgson (no ambition) team, alongside players of a lesser quality than are found at the top 6 clubs. He has also stated that he is not satisfied with moving 'just' to a club in the CL, he wants to move to one that is going to win him the CL and bags of other trophies, blah, blah, blah. He says that he is 'too ambitious' so it looks as if he wants a return to Man Utd. I cannot see Guardiola signing him.

Yeah he's so ambitious that he's ignored all of our (Poch's) previous glances in his direction & signed a contract just a few months ago tying him to his club until 2023.

With the limited amount of transfer funds we have, it would be absolute waste to spend almost all of it on Zaha.

This is one of these transfer rumours that's never going to go away it seems. Hopefully someone else will come in for him.

I'm total confused about Zaha, I really don't know what to make of him. On the over hand I believe Zaha is ready to be tested at a higher level and if Poch wants him I'm all in.

Yeah I was expecting that.

He's seen our stadium hadn't he? So it was only a matter of time before the pleading started.

We should consider it.

I think he is good enough to play for us in a front 3 with Kane and Son. But is he worth that money? I don't think so. At 26 he's left it a season too long I think to move to a club at our level as it will take him a full season to adapt.

Obviously it's a squad game but if we do sign him where does that leave Alli? Maybe in the advanced midfield role if Eriksen leaves? Or do we look for a deeper playmaker next to Winks or Dier or Sissoko?
A signing like Zaha requires a big rethink on our tactical approach.

I've never been keen on him. He is something like Sterling a couple of years back. All speed with little end product.

He could be Llorente's replacement.

Zaha has everything but is obviously missing something

It’s a tough one because with his ability he could be world class and a great premier league player but also with his mentality he can be Sunday League at times

We’ve already got Moura in the squad who’s Uber talented but is just missing something
Can we afford another player with similar traits
