Christian Eriksen has branded criticism of Tottenham’s recent form as “bullsh*t”.

Tottenham are without a win in their last four Premier League games, with their Champions League last-16 victory over Borussia Dortmund perhaps overshadowed by domestic struggles.

He's the last person I want to hear from at the moment.
If he's not struggling with fitness and lack of energy, then he's just not putting in a shift.

He told Danish outlet BT that suggestions of fatigue are “bullsh*t”.

'Fatigue' not 'form'.
But carry on.

That’s just the SC way, don’t let the juicy bull get in the way of the facts

Without wishing to be inflammatory, but the headline specifically states 'fatigue and form'. Perhaps you each could have paid a little more attention to what the headline said and not what your fellow posters said, perhaps...?

Additionally, I'll quote Eriksen himself:

"“A few months ago, there was also a sudden chaos. Then we won a couple of games, and then we were in heaven again. That’s how it happens in the Premier League."

Could you explain to me how that isn't him commenting on form...?

I don't mean to be inflammatory and apologies for having to be quite so harsh, but it was a little unpleasant to be lambasted in error.

Christian didn't write the headline.
Nor the introduction
to the direct quotes
from the man himself,
where he talks about fatigue
being a key factor as 'bullshit'

He's commenting on the fact that
you win some you lose some
'that's how it is in the Premiership'
and the reaction,
by press and fans I assume,
veers from chaos to heaven

I am just quoting the piece.
The parts you mention
are more about results
and the reaction to them
than current form.

Not the first or last time
that the headline
usually written by someone else
does not match the piece
or the quotes.

No offense taken or intended.
It's good to talk.

You see, I would point to the thrust of the article as a whole. What is it that the article is about? It's not about fatigue levels, it's about form.

Fair enough, the specific thing that Eriksen labels 'bullshit' is fatigue, but the subject under discussion is Spurs form.

Ultimately, it's a question of interpretation. Some of us have interpreted the article a particular way. I would imagine much of the commentary has been fuelled by the less than stellar results we've seen and with Eriksen sticking his head above the parapet, he becomes a target of spleen-venting.
