I think Soldados wishes need to be taken I to account too. If he wants to return to a pain, and athletico, do we deny that? Hardly going to score a heap of goals next season if that happens

I've seen it cited in numerous articles on Pochettino's appointment. Adebayor is apparently a notoriously poor trainer who might not take well to Pochettino's well documented double sessions. Of course this is all speculation, but there is certainly enough evidence historically to suggest that Adebayor can be a disruptive influence.

In any case, Lukaku would be a similar type of player to Adebayor but younger and arguably more consistent, so if there was a chance to get him, and remove a potential troublemaker from the squad, I would take it.

Fine, show me a single quote. Just one.

Freund said only a few weeks ago that Ade and Eriksen are the last two players off the pitch after training. But hey why let the facts get in the way of bullshit.

Been an fan of his for years. His first touch and his position abilities(in la liga) and acrobatic goal abilities. Even more his unique first pass abilities, however not an perfect article, but has the strengths, that suits a world class striker.

However , here we have a player that spend his whole career in his homeland. Its been hard for him to settle. At least give him this season to atleast prove himself wrong and all of us. We spent that much on a player, and just wanna get rid after one season?

Don't sell.

Plus him and Destro up top.. cheese on top

I for 1 would be sad to see Robbie leave, I feel like we've all struggled along with him last season, wouldn't it be great to see that pay off next season. It would be a shame to give up on him after just one season which mind you, has been turbulent with a lot of 1st team players underperforming. Besides, I kinda like the "Soldado oHhhhH" chants.

I'm not trying to start anything fellas, but it'd be nice to get accurate info about our own players once in a while.
Bobby is 28 yrs old....Just an FYI ;)
Otherwise, really good points, both of you. (y)

PS. Apparently he just turned 29 two days ago.
Apologies. :sorry:

Didn't Freund say Ade was always one of the last players to leave training?

No idea, but I've seen several articles questioning which Adebayor we'd see and if he'd respond to Pochettino's methods, and personally I'd rather keep Soldado than Ade. Just my opinion.

I personally would like to hang on to both. They both bring different qualities to the game and it would be nice to have that option.

Sell...get as much money as possible while their are suitors. He may come good but the sums involved are too big to take that risk.
