I'm willing to bet on that Aguero leaves in the summer and they keep Jesus and Iheanacho. Aguero isn't going to tolerate being 2nd behind Jesus and plenty of teams would buy him.

Plus they need home grown players. Makes most sense to keep him and sell Aguero for a big fee, and probably get another new and hyped player in.

I was really surprise to see how quickly things turned - after 2 games from Jesus and Pep's saying that "I honestly don't know if Aguero's gonna stay, but I really want him to..." Just insane. Probably because I didn't pay attention to the on going tension within their team, and Pep just need an excuse to clean Aguero out, as his tardiness in practice was well documented and thus, might be telltale sign of his level of professionalism in general...he's still as deadly as they come when he's on though.

We are allegedly interested in signing Sead Kolašinac from Schalke, who I believe is a free agent in the summer.
A very consistent left back for a number of years now, very athletic and strong as well for his size.
Has been playing LWB in a back 3/5 sort of system at Schalke this year and has looked very solid. Can also play the LCB role as well, and at 6ft tall he would not look out of place there.
Is 23 at the moment, turns 24 in June, he has told he will not be renewing his contract at the end of the year and will be leaving for nothing, could prove to be a very good CB/LWB backup signing for nothing, a very Levy-type deal...seem to have a decent stand with Schalke, with them having Bentaleb and us with Holtby a few years back.
Would be a great LCB in our system and if Sessegnon looks a little out of his depth initially, Kolašinac will be more than ample in his place.

Don't know much about him but with the minutes Wimmer's currently playing, logically you'd think we are looking for his replacement instead of any other for our back 3/4/5.

Anyone know much about Vincenzo Grifo? 23-year-old attacking midfielder who has 5 goals and 11 assists for SC Freiburg in 23 games this season. Seems to be a bit of a freekick specialist too.

Good to hear the Maximilian Philip link in a 'that's a bit random, we're probably in for him' way. Seems intelligent and direct.

Good to see Anti Rebic getting some game time this season at Frankfurt, and they seem to be having a very decent season. I'm guessing the fact that Kovac is now manager there is something to do with Rebic getting games now. Today's the first game I've watched of Frankfurt so not sure how he's been playing all season, he's playing up front in a 3412 today, He's still only 23. whoscored are saying he's played a number of positions so far (LM/AM/CF). His goal tally isn't great so far, but his other numbers are good (he has much better pm assists, key passes, created chances, tackles, interceptions than Son for example - but son has better gpm). I have e feeling (just a hunch) he may be wired a bit wrong mentally (maybe too aggressive and this has been a problem) but but Poch would lovethat tenacious, work ethic he has, combined with some untapped ability.

Haha, you'll never let it go, will you?

Mate, he's scored 1 goal this season.

Patrik Schick - 21 - Striker - Sampdoria - Czech Republic

Was mentioned as a prospect to keep an eye out for on BT's European Football Show recently. He's featured mostly from the bench for Sampdoria this season, but has still managed to rack up 7 goals in just 810 minutes, including strikes against Juventus, Roma and Lazio. The 6'2 forward has already been linked with the likes of Juve, Man Utd, Chelsea and Inter.

I fully expect him to become a big time striker, I expect he'll move onto Dortmund to replace aubameyang. But these are the types we should be chasing instead of zaha and Barkley.

Little bit of Berbatov about him. Languid, silky touches...

Has elements of Lewandowski - tall man with agility and lovely feet.

What are everyone's thoughts on Keane at Burnley? I don't watch them, but I hear he has been impressing lately and they play 3 at the back. Possibility for us?
