Spurs plotting Andre Gomes move

He's an OK player, no more no less. For the mighty Spurs of the future, I think, he's not athletic enough. Not an upgrade on Dier, Winks and Sissoko. If we go for a PL foreign player, I prefer Tillemans.

Or Tielemans, his more expensive doppelganger

I can't take any story from an outlet called "The Hard Tackle" seriously.

We can’t moan that Poch doesn’t spend any money becuase he’s holding out for unrealistic targets and then moan if he signs Gomes. Everton fans seem to think he’s very good, and I remember similar comments about Alderweireld when we signed him (not good enough for Atletico etc.).

Willing to go with it if it’s true.

Gomes hasn't got a lot of pace, but otherwise he is a pretty decent player and he wouldn't be a bad signing.
