Spurs players homes

I was having a chat with a mate the other night, and we got on to where football players choose to live..

We'd both heard of Chelski players living in Surrey near their Cobham training ground, but neither of us had heard of where Spurs players were choosing to settle. I remember hearing Woodgate and BAE had flats near docklands, and that's about it..

Do they head to Essex, or Hertfordshire, or somewhere else? I know some of them have been to that famous club in Essex, so maybe the younger guys head out that way?... I dunno.

Anyway, it was just a pub conversation, if anyone could throw some light on the subject, as I'm sure some people have posted seeing players in their local town, then I'd be grateful.

So mainly Hertfordshire? I guess that's the nicest place with space, near to training and match days? I'm not from that area, so don't know it well, WHL is about as far north as I go in London..

Hudd use to live opposite a business partner of mine in Loughton, there was at least another 2 or 3 living on or around the same estate.

When i was living in Canary Wharf i use to see Benoit around sometimes, you literally couldn't miss him because of his hair.

Doubt it's of interest but if you want to add the Spammers to your conversation 4 or 5 West Ham players use to live in the same apartment block as me, Papa Bouba Diop was the biggest footballer i've ever seen, huge bloke!

I don't have a favourite colour, but am often seen in whites, greys and blacks - I'm not a goth though.

I'm size 11 or 12 depending on make or model.

And I am right handed, but I did trainmyself to write with my left hand once upon a time.

I am married and straight though fella;-)

Ye Essex and Hertfordshire. It's where alit if our support comes from aswell. I know a few hammers go into the mens fashion shop in town and some spurs about. Chingford stands out for me as a footballers town.

If you have a Delorean and a flux capacitor handy and took a trip back to early 90's a fair few spurs plays lived in and around Hoddesdon and Broxbourne. Gazza, Paul Stewart, Steve Sedgley, Ray Clemence, Ozzie, Pat Jennings, Chris Houghton. However the place has gone downhill since I lived there. Hoddesdon in particular is unrecognisable due to the need for 5000 supermarkets in a square 400 meters.

I don't think it's trendy enough for the modern day footballer though...

How very dare you, I live in Chigwell ..... Well, more Hainult/Grange Hill really.

Never actually seen any footballers about, although Ronnie O'Sullivan lives about 5 mins away in the gated community of Manor Road.

Apparently though I heard Kaboul visits a barber's in Hainult. I've also seen Lennon visiting some clothes shop in Gants Hill a few years ago. Probably trying to buy some bad boy outfit.

If I see him again I'll be sure to pass on the best wishes of SC and tell him he's a favourite on here
