you take 3 keepers in case 1 gets injured, which isn't impossible
the Liverpool lad has been very good this season
i think Walker will be used in a 3 at the back
Gary Cahill I agree, but in CB it's not our best position
Welbeck shouldn't be in, he is too high risk of injury and doesn't provide enough
Welbeck’s actually been okay for England but I’d say he’s more injury prone than wheelchair, looking at that midfield I’d go for the latter for inclusion instead.

there's never a time when I dont laugh at an england squad.

1. 3 keepers, since fucking when did we need 3 keepers
2. terrence trent d'arby, probably sang, if you let me gooo oo ooh, down the phone, so he was picked, and L Cheek? shows you exactly why you'll get selected for england for only who you 'play' for.
3. 3 RB's ? really
4. Gary Cahill still being picked, see point 2.
5. Danny Welbeck, well I suppose they had to have one player going.

You HAVE TO HAVE 3 keepers in the squad. Rules changed decades ago.

Feel bad for Winks. He would’ve 100% be in this squad and a player like him is what England needs.
I’m confident in saying that if Poch didn’t buy Aurier and trusted in KWP he would’ve been in that squad. I’ve said it before he’s better than Trippier and TAA imo.
Lewis Cook is in the standby list, like him but Onomah was better than him at the U20 WC. If only we didn’t send him to loan to Villa...

And Sessegnon and Sancho got robbed, how Welbeck and Cahill made the squad instead of them is a joke

Sancho has 12 senior appearances at club level with one goal. Sessegnon has never played in a top flight game.

Feeling robbed might be a bit strong.

Sancho is already a starter for Borussia Dortmund and he’s got 1 goal 4 Assist in 12 games which is a good record.
He’s a much better footballer than Welbeck

Sessegnon has been involved in 23 goals and is a massive reason Fulham is possible one game from playing in the premier league. And he’s versatile

Sancho or Sess aren't realistic options for England at the moment, too much expectation a and pressure from the media etc...just absolutely pointless and selfish calling them up for the sake of getting out the group stage for the sake of their careers, we've been down this road before, it's not the answer.

I understand your point but imo if you’re good enough you’re old enough and both of them are better than Welbeck

Yea they are probably good enough but I'd prefer them to carry on with no extra pressure on them at the moment, if they still playing at the level they're playing now we can always look to EURO 2020

I watched Sessegnon in the play-off game against Derby and I didn’t think he was all that. Yes he got a goal but it was on a plate 6 yards out. He also missed a good chance. Apparently he hasn’t been playing brilliant for a while, they say it’s all the media pressure on him. So can you imagine the pressure if he was in the World Cup squad. Me I would have picked welbeck also. He will have 2 or 3 more chances. This is welbecks last!

Lloris

Dier Dembele
Eriksen Dele Son
Kane

Plus Toby!

Wonder how many other teams have their entire starting line up at the WC?

We’ve always had 3 keepers so have other teams AFAIK.

I'd have thought we'll have one of the biggest world cup contingents. If their countries had qualified we'd have 4 more.
Of our 24 man senior squad:

Likely [12]
Trippier, Rose, Dier, Alli, Kane
Lloris
Eriksen
Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Dembele
Sanchez
Son

Maybe [2]
Sissoko
Lamela

The only senior squad players not going [10]
Injured/Fitness: Winks, Moura
Country not qualified: Wanyama, Vorm, Davies, Aurier
Not selected: Gazzaniga, Llorente
Youngsters in senior squad: Foyth, Walker-Peters
