It’s so frustrating that we are not selling players for a premium price at the moment.

We have already lost Dembele and we are likely to sell Eriksen and Alderweireld in the summer. Given their contracts it looks unlikely we’ll be getting market value for them.

So with a low net spend buying high quality youngsters is looking to be difficult.

The only way you sell at premium prices is top quality players on long contracts that top clubs desperately want. Those players are the ones we are desperate to keep hold of. I think we've done our best to get our stars to sign long contracts but Eriksen and Alderweireld have turned down huge offers and we can't do much about that.

I agree, it’s just frustrating.

If we are still geniunely interested in Sessegnon, at least he will be available for far less than last summer.

If we sign him, I look fw to quoting you on this post. The boy's mustard IMO.
If we do and if he does and if you do, I will hold my hands up, its true he looked like a world beater in the championship but he has looked very average in the PL and for me he is just is not good enough for us.
