Great place HG....ours is surrounded by snow right now!
I flew to England on Wednesday, I am surrounded by grey clouds and perennial dampness. Looking forward to flying home on Friday. At least I can watch the game at a decent time on Sunday.

Was up at the same time HG....but with -11 and 5inches of fresh snow fallin' I'm glad there isn't anywhere to go but my computer with a quality stream from Yesman on stream torrent, a large mug of coffee and a cheeky Balentines..

Sounds good. I had a cup of tea a slice of toast, and a mouthful from the wife because I woke the baby!

Does anyone know what channel the England games are being shown of for the World Cup? I may need to upgrade my satellite tv.

Didn't realise we had a Spurs Japan section, good luck at the World Cup! The Japanese team was a lot of fun to watch at the last one and I can see them getting out of their group with ease, I'd love to see them get past the round of 16 for the first time.

Cheers mate, I looked and couldn't find them. It's great it's on NHK and not BS channels. Just got to fight the little one for the tv now.

Occasional poster here.

I will be in Nagoya on Sunday 22nd - is there anywhere you recommend to watch the West Ham game?
I live in Nara, but my in laws live in Gifu (near Nagoya) I am no expert in that city so I can't answer I am afraid. I just happen to be going to the in laws for the weekend, and I know that they have had meet ups in Nagoya occasionally.

Maybe if you look back in this thread you would see it.

Nipponyid had posted about Boobys bar in aichi, in the past, I have no idea if it's doing anything for the West Ham game.
