Hi Guys,

Didnt realise that this thread exists.

Shout out to any of you who is visiting / posted to singapore for work in time to come...

We now gather at this pub called London Pub along Boat Quay... details at www.spurs-sg.org.

We have an active 11 a side team that plays at least once a fortnight and we participate in the local BPL Fan Club League.

We also have a futsal side that participates in weekly thursdays corporate league.

Lastly, on a social basis, a group of 10-20 fans will gather to play futsal on Mondays.

We are now trying to hook up with our malaysian spurs fans for an annual causeway challenge, home and away.

Will love to hear from the Hong Kong yids and southeast asian fans.

Lived in SG for 2 years until Christmas. Used to go to the Toucan before it was knocked down/renovated/whatever. Loved the fact we had our own pub, found the Singaporean guys that ran the supporters club cliquey, unfriendly and unhelpful on more than one occasion. Hope these aren't the experiences of everyone. I didn't join because of them.

I'm going to Singapore in July. Is there anywhere I will be able to buy the new shirt? there's a big Under Armour shop, or a few maybe, but does it stock Spurs stuff or just warm up gear?

oddly, the under amour shop doesn't sell spurs kits, training kits a few.

to buy our jerseys, there's 2 options - weston corporation, and la vanita. both have websites.

but for singapore spurs supporters club members, there will be discounts through a tie up with la vanita.

cool.

yeah strange, but ah well... stranger things happen in sg sports retail, like how you can't find the full range of adidas boots at adidas but only at weston and limited other retailers.

SINGAPORE: Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has written to the family of Sonia Jhala, a Tanjong Katong Primary School (TKPS) student who died on Mount Kinabalu following a Jun 5 earthquake in Sabah.
A photo of the letter was posted to a Facebook community page named after the 12-year-old girl on Tuesday (Jun 29).
"It is with great sadness that we have heard the news of the loss of Sonia Jhala," said the letter, signed off by head coach Mauricio Pochettino. "We have been made aware that Sonia supported Tottenham Hotspur all her life and loved football.
"I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on behalf of all the staff and players here at the Club. We know that she will be sadly missed. Our sympathy goes out to you all at this difficult time," he wrote.

More than 1,500 had attended Sonia's funeral service on Jun 10, many of them wearing Spurs jerseys or the club's colours, blue and white, to remember Sonia, described by her mother as a "sporty Bollywood Princess".

@Spursidol - yeah we know and the committee is excited to welcome the club. some of us will be there at the games. thanks for directing.

Pleasure. Never sure how well publicised youth tournaments are outside youth watcher circles.

If you or your colleagues want to give any feedback on the team or players we'd certainly enjoy them in the youth thread http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/ind...–-2015-16-edition.120448/page-53#post-4726219. Not sure if there will be any streams of the matches so we'll likely be following on twitter. If you have TV coverage in Singapore can you let us know

BTW there is the provisional squad on the Page 53 of the thread - it was sourced a few weeks ago so may be updated for injuries etc.

Enjoy !

Ledley King and Donna Cullen at our Singapore Spurs Supporters Club 15th anniversary dinner yesterday night.

The no holds barred off the record Q&A was fun!
