Personally happy about this. I want to see Soldado get another run in the team in the league as his link up with Lamela has been showing signs of promise. Being mates off the pitch has obviously helped so with Ade being a little bit up and down at the minute, there's no reason for us not to try him on Sunday vs West Brom.

how cool would it be if he really DID start smashing them in?
After that, with a more settled back 4 i think we might become very hard to beat! COYS!!

I'm looking forward to Soldado starting against Partizan without Lamela, struggling and everyone getting on his back again.

Bobby will thrive in this new system, we are crearting way more chances and further up the pitch there is more happening. Before it was just long hopefuls forward which is not Bobby's style. I'm sure if he started in place of Ade against sunderland we would have beaten them.

Yeah (y)

Because Ade has nothing to do with the way we are playing.

Likewise some haven't, Eriksen, Kaboul, Dembele, Paulinho, no sign of Davies.
Just to balance it all out.

Bit harsh on Eriksen he hasn't played badly. Very harsh on Paulinho and Davies who have yet to get a chance given the form of those above them. Dembele and Kabould i'll admitt have not been at their best but given both need walking sticks (based on all the gossip regarding the seriousnes of their injuries over the summer) their performances havent been too bad!

Eriksen hasn't been close to the player he was last season.
Paulinho and Davies don't look like challenging for a first team role.

He's better than the player that was getting used to a new system this time last year. And he getting used to a new system right now.

We'll see.
I'm eluding more to the fact some fans are acting as though Pochettino is a faith healing messiah that, by his mere presence, makes players 10 times better.

I dont think anyone is saying that, not even remotely, and it's frankly a ridiculously over the top thing to say.

Surely it's better to give Soldado another chance under the new coach to see if the change of coaching style has an impact on his game, rather than simply writing him off for the fact that he has struggled in the previous regime?

Sure give him another chance.

But the team shouldn't suffer because some one feels we have to play him every week no matter how ineffective.
