Hope poch now just uses him centrally. Long season; he'll get decent playing time and we get tor rest moose properly.
with all the games and injuries they'll both get games. Sissoko is useful for direct driving forward in the middle. Both will have their uses.Prefer to see Winks in CM, but Sissoko did OK today.
With Lamela injured, some people have needed a scapegoat. Some Spurs fans were shocked. Most of us could see that he has enormous quality and power. And he has been played out of position most of the time.
If you want to know how good Sissoko is: imagine him lining up in centre midfield for the opposition. You'd know our midfield were going to have a tough game.
True. Also worth pointing out that there wasn't a peep of protest from sissoko about being played out of position. Unfairly demonized. With Lamela injured, some people have needed a scapegoat.
Much has been said about his first touch, but it may be that he is lacking composure due to being anxious to do well. He certainly has mental toughness in spades.I thought Everton were absolutely rubbish today - and Sissoko looked like a player who could count on one hand how many games he'd played over the course of 12 months...
His direct running into channels certainly benefited Eriksen - who found himself in plenty of space, however Sissoko's first touch and final pass leave a lot to be desired and must be an area for him to improve in over the upcoming 6 months if he seriously thinks he will kick on and successfully integrate himself into Pochettino's thinking.
I thought Davinson Sanchez on the other hand was absolutely fantastic!
Reminds me of Zokora in midfield. Not sure if that's good or not.
