Does surprise me he's not getting game time. I have wondered how he fits our plans for the next 2 years when hes not seemingly fitting Leeds plans at the moment. Could be more of a development signing and one for the mid term future. I hope this doesnt screw his head.

Might just have lost motivation to develop him when they sold him

Odd they wanted him back so badly though

Want him back then go and sign more loanees... or, rather, sell players and replace them with loanees. He's the odd man out. These players are in key roles and Helder Costa is way more experienced.

EFL rules only allow five on-loan players in the matchday squad but Leeds have six players on such deals and it seems as if that may mean the teenager misses out given the important roles the other loan signings have.

Striker Eddie Nketiah has come in as Kemar Roofe’s replacement and added two goals already, Jack Harrison has started every Championship game so far, Illan Meslier is the new back-up goalkeeper following the exit of Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Ben White has replaced Pontus Jansson in central defence, and Helder Costa has provided three assists in his five appearances.

It seems particularly idiotic to use one of your 5 loan spots on your reserve keeper every week

Watched him, in the cup game recently,
Who ever scouted him, may have pulled off a masterstroke, the kids quality and looks like he can player any attacking role.
Leeds know he's not in there future plans, so what's the point ,playing him,
they don't need him

Wonder if they expected Kiko Casilla to leave before signing him. Meslier wears #1. It says they have an option to sign him permanently after the loan.

With GNK gone it would make sense to get Clarke in the squad if he isn't getting minutes for Leeds.

'Sanction'? Really?

I wish journalists would learn the fucking language.

He is 18.

We will see him in 3 years. If he then plays 30-40 games over 2 years he can be worth over 50m be the time he is 23.

It's an investment.

Leeds are top, sounds like the manager is picking the right team.
