I'm not sure I understand the logic apart from using as leverage re Wembley. But I also thought that was done and dusted.

I don't know what's going on. When Brent said we could play there it just seemed the obvious thing to do. If we stay at the Lane will we need approval again to play there later on, because I'm not sure we'll get it if at that time Chelsea are also bidding for it. We need a plan, I'm hoping Levy has one.

I too think this is leverage on the builders, to push them into committing to a definite delivery date prior to agreeing Wembley.

I think this says more about Levy's uncertainty on the stadium completion than anything else.
