Crap. I'm with Rose on this. It used to be the pinacle of some players careers getting to Wembley to play on the hallowed turf, sometimes just once if they were lucky.
These days our lot are there every home game and our opponents.
How the fk can it possibly still be as special?

Hidden in that article is this little gem: "they’re going to be the two best places to play, our new stadium White Hart Lane, and Wembley."

It does not sound like naming rights are close...

For a cup final it's still special (I imagine), just not league fixtures.

both are not at odds. It's clear, the fans are voicing their opinion with their feet.

I'll only be going to Wembley for must see games, the others games can wait.

The fans are not rewarded for the going the extra mile for the club.

Levy hasn't offered a morsel for all the inconvenience.

I am happy for the time we've spent at wembley, and it should reap benefits later down years when we return in big cup match finals, for now, enough already, i wanna go back home to the mighty WHL.

Thats the day thats special and would be so if it was being played at OT or MS (not Marks and Spencers).
The novelty of playing at Wembley is no more.
Even as fans we only went to Wembley for internationals or cup finals.
Now its 'Son shall we go to Wembley this weekend?'
'Meh nah we went few weeks back.'

I'm not sure what else
Mauricio is supposed to say.
His job is to be Mr Motivator
and Danny the designated thinker
of the unthinkable
and sayer of the unsayable.
Every familyshould have one
or a gripe
becomes a festering wound.

I’m sure like everyone Poch wants to be at the new stadium his jobs been very hard this season he does not need Danny Rose being a pain in the arse.

Yes we would prefer to be at NWHL but negativity spreads so please keep a lid on it Danny!

Shame we won’t get naff all for Rose now as be quite nice if he fucked off.

As a manager, the last thing you need is someone constantly whining in the background when you’re trying to keep everyone on message

It's not the first time I've said this but what is the difference between what Hugo and Toby said to what Danny has said now?

Toby and Lloris’s comments are Poch-esque “it’s hard for us to win the title while not at home but we’ll give it all we’ve got” team generalities. Both of them are honest but talk like club reps

Rose is way more specific, he goes into detail about his personal gripes and it must infruiate Poch. He’s always quick to labour a point - it’s not helpful. Poch clearly agrees going on this response.

The irony that he can barely get a game but is moaning about having to play at Wembley all the time. Surely he’s just glad of the minutes whereever he plays.

I think the real “magic of Wembley” was lost when they decided to have the FA Cup Semi-Finals there. Ruined it for me.

Wembley lost its aura when the Towers were torn down.

Has the feel of Triggers Broom about the place now.

So essentially they're saying the same thing then, I don't see a difference particularly when the complaint is in regards to the context of what he said.
