He has been poor I will agree with that but there is no need for the constant shit some players get.
And Ramos has continued to pick him. Clearly, he, and Jol before him, have far less idea of what they're doing than some SC members.

Maybe, maybe, but you said the same about Robinson. We were calling for his head a long while back, yet Jol refused to drop him, ramos had a good look at hime and then decided enough is enough and dropped him. So maybe some SC-ers are right?
Perhaps the same will happen with Dawson should he continue to make costly errors.
We are surely entitled to our own opinions and in some cases, they may well be right.
Dawson was subjected to a torrent of abuse on SC after the United cup game. He wasn't dropped. Kaboul didn't even make the bench for several games until yesterday. Rocha's made the bench just once. Go figure.
And I'd suggest that as far as Robinson's concerned, it may be less to do with his errors, more to do with Cerny's greater willingness to get off his line and his surer handling. I suspect Juande's gone for a trade-off, and it's worked.
Sure, people are entitled to their opinions. I just wonder what those opinions are based on, sometimes. I really love the 'he's not a Ramos-type player' comments. I doubt that some of the people making those had even heard of Juande before we played Sevilla.
There's the key word—'abusing'.
According to some of our resident 'experts' Dawon should have dealt with those two VdS long balls easy as kiss-my-hand. Just routine. We had the assurance of some mug who plays Sunday League or whatever that he'd have got perfect headers on to them. As if. Funnily, no-one watched United v. Pompey, it seems, because Judas was totally unable to deal with two or three very similar balls. The difference was, he didn't get punished.
We had some fuckwits claiming that Cerny should have saved Beletti's shot. What? Sorry?
I've been pretty critical of Dawson myself this season, more on account of his failure to show leadership than his errors, but Ramos seems not to have lost faith in him, and that's what counts. Let's not forget, according to some people, Jenas should have been relegated to the stiffs long ago, because he's rubbish.
