Makes me laugh, for years now Spurs have very publically been against touting.
Yet every single match, there are dozens of them, in plain site, within yards of police officers, selling tickets.
It's all well and good issuing statements, but something has to actually be done about it.

I agree that something should be done about touts openly buying & selling outside the ground. But I doubt the Club itself has any jurisdiction to stop it. That would be the responsibility of the police.

A real fan would try and flog his ticket for high profit.
Guessing you meant wouldn’t

I’m pleased the club are sending a message. Yes more needs to be done outside the stadium but this is a start. £60 tickets going for £3k!! Disgusting profiteering from “fans”

Sorry mate, yes I meant "wouldn't."

I'm collecting my ticket from Paxon Rd tomorrow, I'm so excited about the prospect of being there, I can't imagine selling my ticket.

I do think the greedy UEFA folks, have made the situation worse, by giving out such a low allocation to both clubs.

But still, to profit from scarcity is short-sighted.

I still find it pretty crazy in this day and age that tickets aren't all managed digitally. Buy a ticket, get it on an app with an option to activate it, as long as you haven't activated it the ticket can still be sold, only allow sales through the app at face value so if you sell a ticket you can only get your money back at most, as soon as you activate the ticket (say on matchday) it can't be sold. The technology must exist.

I’m 396 in the ST waiting list, judging by the amount of tickets online I reckon I could be 0 by kick off
