As a sidebar on this transfer I wonder what the guy who runs the Harry Hotspur site will do if this deal goes thru .
My bet is he will commit suicide as he is so eaten up with hate for Levy which disguises his hate for tottenham as a club.
Please please please let this deal go ahead.
A pox on the Harry Hotspur site and all who sail on her.
Sorry. just something I had to get off my chest.

He'll just move the goalposts which is something that trolls always do.

Well it was wrote about on the site, and instead of an article about the player, how we smashed our transfer record, all it was was negativity and talking about all the cursed players of Tottenham. The guy may be better off with some prozac.

Just saw the vid above. He's another Dembele/Sissoko but with even more skill. Get him in already!

It's funny you should compare him to those two. I see him more Yaya Toure/Essien mould. From the albeit, limited vids of him of course.

You know there's no hard and fast rule when comparing a black you have to compare him to another black player :shifty:

Sure there is, black men have nearly 20% more bone mass which makes them leaner by default. They have much more fast twitch muscle fibres so are more powerful sprinters and runners, they also have more muscle mass and strength.

It would be stupid, or should I say, it would be shadydan stupid to not make black to black comparisons when talking about Ndombele.

Consider these two lines from the same article:

1. "Tottenham have agreed to pay a club-record fee of around £65m for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, Sky Sports News understands."
2. "Lyon reportedly told Tottenham that it would take a bid of £63m to buy Ndombele"

So Sky News 'understands' that Daniel Levy will pay £2m more than the asking price. Sounds just like something our chairman will do.

Pinch of salt required I think.

Some French journal has said that Ndombele can do better than Tottenham and then went on to mention Juventus and Man City .
Clubs that are funded by arab oil money with apparently no limits on spending .
I think people are confusing better with better money and for me these uber rich arabs are killing the game I love with there intent on spend spend spend until they dominate PSG= France Juventus =Italy Mancity = England also they have clubs in the USA. and Australia and are trying to dominate using there cash as the tool to dominate.
I can see the day coming when I am going to say"f...k. this trying to do things organically the right way is a waste of time and only money counts" then that's when give up on the game I have been going to watch since season 1951 . Trust me these oil rich arabs are in the process of killing competition and will kill the game for most of us as competition will be dead.
some might say this is a doomsday outlook but to me a realistic outlook.

Anyone any idea on where this is going?

If you believe the President of Lyon we haven't agreed a fee & Juve are now interested, although I'm not sure they have the money for De Ligt & N'Dombele! There are Fench jurno's suggesting he'd be better off going elsewhere. The boy apparently has visited the training ground, why not the ground itself I'm not sure.

Poch's comments seem to suggest he's getting worried at the lack of progress & is telling Danny to get on with it, so it makes you wonder is this another one of Danny's F*ck ups.
