Was gutted :( ......but they have NEVER beat us 5 straight times so that means we'll win at Anfield .....ermm I hope.

Pen was THE key moment and for me was never a pen,yes he touched him but no way was it they hard to make him fall like that.
Went down like we have a sniper in the ground ffs!!
Up until that I thought we did ok but not great .......

Oh well its one game, and we have to learn, and not let it affect us and move on.

Well personally I thought we looked bloody awful. Far too slow. Far too much sideways and backwards piss balling about in our half (it was like AVB never left). Far too many mistakes from far too many players and we missed the few really good chances we did create.
Granted the ref was poor but Liverpool never got out of 2nd gear. They didn't have too.
Eriksen, Lloris and Kaboul had their feet on backwards and the rest of the team weren't much better.
Imo Rose, Dier, Bentaleb did their job ok for the most part. Chadli not bad but christ you cant miss sitter's like that and the same for Ade. Everyone else had a shocker.

Absolutely spot on.

I keep reading about 'learning lessons'. Why on earth did we not learn from our fixtures against them last season?

I thought our performance was even worse than last season. It was just Liverpool didn't play as well this time - and Balotelli kept missing sitters.

Tactically, 36,000 fans should have known as soon as the game started we were approaching that game the wrong way.

First real test for Poch, and let's be honest - he failed emphatically.

But let's hope he does learn.

Very quickly.

Was one I thought we had to win, liverpool are the weakest of the top 4 contenders, and to have lost to them at home? Na man, that's not on...We need to do better.
