That was his thoughts when he played under Conte about the role, I don't think he likes it there.

Nice, thank you.

Yet within that, there's a tweet which says Hazard himself came out saying the club don't need to buy a big striker. And Sarri himself openly admitted that Hazard isn't a team player, which is exactly the reason I don't (personally) rate his season as being better than Sons.

Fair...

Although it's not as clear cut, you can make arguments for both I guess.
The main issue is that the shortlist only allows 6 candidates on it, we have so many good players in this league now and real difference makers so 1 or 2 were always gonna miss out, it just happened to be Son this year.

It's a popularity contest in any case, doubt Son cares that much, although it's nice to be on the list there's not much point being on there if you're not gonna win lol

That's the best thing about it. As you say, Son himself probably couldn't give a damn.

Thank you for the respectful conversation about him though.

He was good when returning from the Asian games, saved us against Watford and Newcastle and also got on the scoresheet against Leicester. It was when Kane came back into the side that his form dropped for a few games.
Have to agree and it's why I wasnt too worried about Kane getting injured.
I don't think Kane was anywhere near his best and by playing, Son was being restricted. Hopefully missing the last 4 games and having a summer off, Kane will come back all guns blazing.

1st in goals scored, assists, dribbles and chances created and it's not even close.

Where do you think Chelsea would be if it wasn't for Hazard?

Woopee doo!! Probable 5th place and doing well in the ropey league! What an achievement for a money bags club!!

This is based on the premier league isn't it? So really not that much to chose from between the 2 teams.

There's a helluva lot of difference, they spend shit loads of money, we don't plus we've had an injury ravaged season!

This feeble response really doesn't rebuttal anyhting I said nor does it add any weight to your opinion.

Let me ask again where do you think Chelsea would be if it wasn't for Hazard this season?

6th? Maybe. Does that really qualify him for player of the season? For Chelsea yes, but for the PFA? Really?

Yup nowhere near in contention for 4th place, his contribution alone has essentially put them on par with us - feel free to have a look at the stats if you like they're there for all to see.

The debate is about the shortlist for the POTY not the POTY itself which has been voted for by his peers i.e the other players in the league so yeah really...(y)
