Humble Oliver Skipp went with the flow in the lead-up to his Premier League debut against Southampton. Training and travelling with the squad on matchdays on a regular basis over the last few weeks, the 18-year-old was given a nice boost when he made the bench for what was an important game for the team at Wembley and an opportunity to respond after Sunday’s derby defeat.

Really pleased for him as he looks a top prospect, but on a slightly different note I’m suprised that at 3-0 up after an hour we didn’t bring in lorente for Kane

Kane might have thrown a bit of a strop as he likes his goal stats but you are right - he needs a rest.

Skipp looks a great prospect and I think he will make it big time. Seems to have that mental edge.
