Excellent step by step guide to buying by @EmperorKabir here:

Going to do this with screenshots. Dougal/mods, maybe pin?

First, you DO NOT NEED THE EMAIL SAYING YOUR WINDOW IS OPEN.

Go to:

www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspurstadium at around 9.30am NOT 10am so that you can get ahead in the doughnut of death queue. 9.30am is approximate.

After

You'll get this screen:
Capture_50.png

Chuck in your client reference and password. If you really are trying to beat the rush, type it out somewhere else, copy your reference or your password and paste it in to save a valuable few seconds. Then log in.

You'll be signed in and the screen won't look much different but you'll be logged in on the side:

cap2_50.png

Click BUY NOW! and let's get Daniel Levy above the 3 million a year salary mark.

You will see a stadium map appear, (it might take a couple of seconds to show in the white box):

cap3_50.png

Now, click the block you want and you should get zoomed in like below.

cap4_50.png

Bear in mind that the orientation of the blocks is relative to how it looks as if the east stand is at the top, the west at the bottom, the south at the right and the north at the left, (just like our usual stadium map from WHL). So the front row of the south in block 206 as shown is the left hand where it meets that green bit representing the pitch. The back of that block, higher up, is the right. If I had shown you a north block, it would be the other way around.

Hover your mouse over a BLUE dot. BLUE = AVAILABLE SEAT but GREY = TAKEN SEAT.

My screenshot function doesn't show the cursor but your cursor (mouse arrow) will look like the back of a hand with all fingers open. When you 'successfully' hover over a blue dot, it becomes a pointed finger. Click the blue dot to select your seat. You will then get an option of what concession you want or adult if you are an adult. In non concession sections, only the adult option will appear:

cap_5_50.png

Click the button where it says £50.00 next to the relevant category.

You will either get an error message saying that it is no longer available, if this is the case, swear, increase your blood pressure. Create hatred and animosity to the club, Levy, Ian Murphy and Donna, feel ripped off and overall angry, then repeat the process in a mildly panicked state on another seat, (or you'll be fine first time around). Once finally successful, the bottom of the screen will change as shown with your highlighted seat now a red dot. (If you select more than one seat at this stage, you will have multiple red dots):

cap6_50.png

On the bottom right, click BUY TICKETS.

Assuming again no clashes or errors, you will get to the payment page with a timer at the top (more than enough time) to purchase. Note on my screenshot, it says assign member. It will either automatically assign it to the lead ticket holder signed in, or it will require assigning to others in your season ticket network. Obviously if you are buying multiple tickets, all of them will show in a list on this page:

cap7_50.png

Assuming you are on this page, the ticket is reserved against your name and removed for sale until payment is either made or the timer runs out. Don't blame me if bugs creep in that doesn't happen, but in theory it should.

Good luck you daft gits who are wanting to spend crazy money on the 'Tottenham Hotspur Experience' and don't screw up like me, get sold out for being about 5 seconds late on an excellent 1500 seat in the west and end up going for a 1995 seat in the east where I'll probably have the sun in my eyes and be a pain in the ass to get to which I can only JUST afford and got it in a fecking panic.

We're all just a bunch of mugs aren't we. :)

I really think this process could be a big error. They HAVE to get the pricing right now. If there's a situation where e.g. the whole of the East and West stands are >£900, and then the south and north with presumably cheaper seats quickly sell out, it's going to leave a lot of very angry people. It would surely have made sense to at least put this to consultation first - asking ST holders what their maximum budget is and where they're likely to want to sit so they could assess demand for different areas and whether there's a lot of fans who can't or won't pay for the more expensive options. As it is this could be a massive kick in the teeth to everyone who paid up for seats they didn't wholly want at Wembley in the expectation of getting somewhere reasonable next year.

It will be difficult for people wanting to get groups together with other people who haven’t had season tickets as long as others. That will effect people who have kids too.

I’m happy that my 19 years as a season ticket holder is being recognised after the recent change to only allow 5 years of loyalty with the points. My 20th year could well be my last so I’m hoping for a good spot!

Seem to be a fair few in that situation already annoyed on Twitter. I do wonder if it's deliberate - in reality the last thing the club wants is young children in the South Stand. They won't as easily contribute to the atmosphere, they'll end up complaining about standing, and may well stand on seats which has got other clubs in trouble. The club can't openly ban them, but this way it's likely 99% of season ticket holders under 14 won't be able to buy in there.

I'll be interesting to see what they do with the pricing. There were a fair few season tickets sold at £795 or thereabouts for Wembley this season. But that was mainly to convince season ticket holders to sit up in the Gods. I'd imagine the club won't feel the same about NWHL, as even the furthest seat is much closer than a comparable seat at wembley.

If I want to keep my season ticket next year I need to get one as cheap as possible, but as I will be in one of the later sales windows I'll be curious as to how they have priced the north and south stand, and how many tickets there will be in them if the East and West end up costing crazy money.

So if there were 26000 season ticket holders already and I just got one for this season but was around 1000th on the list. I'm effectively 27,000th in the pecking order??

Where does the loyalty points come to play?

Buying in a group scheme sounds difficult, I have a lot of seasons and points, as do some others I sit with but not all. My choice will be ditch them or get a worse seat!

It doesn't for new season ticket holders from last season.

It doesn’t even mention those with kids who also have season tickets. My son isn’t old enough to sit on his own, but even though I’ve had a season ticket for almost 25 years i’ll have to wait for his phase to buy a ticket therefore being left in a shitty seat. Very annoying.

Don't think it comes into play for us. It's if e.g. two people both got season tickets in 2011, the one with more LPs would have priority. There were around 23k ST holders last season so you're about 24k on the list - in practice though with so many people waiting till other lower down are eligible so they can book together you'll hopefully have a very good pick :)

Maybe they are trying to force season ticket holders with kids to sit in the family area?

I have the same problem as you. My son is 4 though so I might just have to give up the season ticket I got him.
