We have got away with it (and still might not!) this season and everyone can see a major overhaul is needed. If we stagnate or go backwards on the pitch the novelty of the new stadium will start to wear off and folk will start looking at their own finances.

100% - over to you DL

My renewal isn't on my account yet hmmm

I am trying to relocate like one or two seats away from the peasant that is next to me currently. Such a weirdo. Fucking running commentary of the game... Makes a remark on EVERY fucking thing.

You can't relocate for the 19/20 season

Yeah, I know... only in exceptional circumstances.

I'm going to fight this though. I'm considering the imminent fisticuffs as an exceptional circumstance.

I'd hate to have wankers near me, thankfully those around me are alright and a good laugh.

Club needs to put its hand in pocket and buy players.

Do that and challenge, tickets will sell easily.

Carry on as is, in for a rude awakening.

So you don’t feel finishing above 3 richer clubs, and being in touching distance of the title 2 seasons running, reaching a final or 4 semifinals in 5 years, while building a 62k stadium which allowed you to get a season ticket isn’t challenging, considering where we once where?

It was a worry when choosing a seat in the new stadium but we seem to have been lucky with the fans around us.?

So it looks like I'm not the only one trying to move! I've emailed the club with reasons but no answer as yet. It will be interesting to see if anyone here is successful.

I'm repeating myself here, and perhaps have no right to say anything as a non match goer, but I genuinely don't see why the club would have problems with relocating seats if it's a mutual agreement between 2 ST holders?

I'm NOT picking on @Lighty64 (he'll know this) but he's the only person that comes to mind to use as an example. He has mobility/standing issues, and has had experience of being seated & having people standing in front of him.

So, if he and another ST holder (who is in a more seated friendly location in the stadium) mutually agree to swap seats for the benefit of their match-day experience, they should be allowed to do so, no?

The club doesn't lose anything & surely it wouldn't be much to sort within the club?

Totally agree if it is a mutually beneficial arrangement I can’t see what the problem would be. Someone just has to log the requests and if a potential swap comes up then take it from there. I rather suspect that they might be trying to avoid people migrating from the high end seats cost wise. This was the reason why I went in the middle of the range as I could see the high end ones becoming more expensive when the inflationary rises kick in, plus the extra costs of cup tickets.

I’m only a member so have no idea, I only got my ticket changed from north to south because there was one available after making a complaint, but a totally different section to the season ticket holder

Update: Renewed both of my sons and my own STs just now after being advised the club will review the possibility of relocating subject to availability after May 16th deadline.

Don't see how/why the different costs of the exchanged seats would make a difference if it's a mutual agreement between the 2 people wishing to exchange? The club wouldn't lose out either way because, yes, someone with a cheaper ticket would be in a more expensive seat, but the person who paid for the more expensive seat would happily be sitting in a cheaper one. The same money has been paid for both seats regardless.

Member, season ticket holder, why would/should it matter when 2 people have mutually agreed to exchange seats?

I'm in block 507 Row 10. I would like to swap with someone in block 507 Row 1 or 2

Thanks

no what I'm saying is I have no idea how the ST works, I never exchanged when I was moved and have since requested south stand when getting tickets

i just went in to renew my season ticket and my credit didn’t tally up with what I thought it should be - around 110 quid short. Anyone else have the same?

Mine was spot on, even the ticket exchange sale of my West Ham tickets were added.
