We have reached agreement with QPR for the transfer of Sandro to the Loftus Road side.

Sad to see him go but we have signed his replacement. I'm more concerned about Holtby leaving if Erikssen gets a knock who covers for the creativity.

The two best characters in the dressing room :(

Hope it doesn't affect morale

So we sell our only enforcer with out any replacement. So if someone can straighten me out and tell me what we do when the likes of Chelsea and City come what we'll do?

He featured in both of them i think you will find and we were drubbed on both occasions. As for being an enforcer he managed just fifteen games for us last season. Part time crock part time enforcer.

It's a shame. He hasn't been the same since the injury, but even so, it's a shame. I hope Stambouli is an able replacement.

I have read somewhere that over the last 5 seasons Spurs have a net transfer spend of £21M, the lowest of those that stayed in the Premiership in that time. Plus this transfer window where we come out at the end with a nice profit.

Now I know we have a stadium to build, and all the financial implications surrounding that, but I will feel a whole lot better about how it impacts our transfer spending when I can actually see the stadium rising out of the ground.

Not worth letting him go for 6m. Think it will come back and bite us in the arse. We'll see if he's up to full time first team football I suppose. Thanks for the memories Big Man.

Hi Everyone, just joined the site. Sandro is injury prone by the very nature of his game. Also we have taken 3 points off QPR, so only one more game to go. In the meantime he can help them to take points off our rivals in top 6 positions all season! Sad to see him go, but we must accept MP decisions, of who he wants, and Sandro desire to play in PL / Cups games.

He was the Beast, but i think injuries have taken their toll. He doesnt look the beast of old and the new system seems like it will be too much. still cant believe he only 25. i do hope we have a clause in the deal.

would have been much better to send him on loan to see how he did. A lot of pressure on Capoue and the new French guy thats not called Morgan Schneiderlin to become our ball winners and actually instigate play.

Capoue missed games last season through injury as well; and I'm not so sure this was a M.P. decision...already it looks as if Levy is running the ship as far as transfers go.

Sad to lose Sandro, but delighted we didn't waste £20 million on either Welbeck or Lallana. Come on the Poch.

Bit of an overstatement as we brought in Stambouli whose primary position is DM as per Sandro, plus we have Capoue. Sandro was a shambles against Chelsea last season, which is what led to his falling out with Sherwood as he chose to respond to criticism with lashing out on social media rather than pulling his socks up.
Stambouli played 3,330 minutes in Ligue 1 last season, more than any other player so certainly has no availability issues - he played as many league games last season as Sandro did in the previous 2. He also covers 2 other positions so gives us versatility in the squad.
