I love that Telegraph article.

Levy: if only you had £20m guys, then you could buy Onomah and N’Koudou
Fulham: alas we don't, woe is us
Levy: hey, I know, why don’t WE give you £20m for Ryan Sessegnon and you can then buy these two awesome Spurs players from us?
Fulham: oh wow, you’d do that for us? You’re just great Mr Levy.

Lolz

Well , all thanks to Agent Parker :sneaky::playful:

I've seen him quite a few times now and I don't see him as a full back personally. Happy to be proven wrong but he's so much better going forward he's a winger for me, in fact I think he could even play in a two up front. Good to have another versatile player though

Modern full backs have to be extremely good going forward. It’s pretty clear from ITK snippets over the last couple of years that is how we see him.

Think of it this way, how often does our style of play end up with the RB/LB relatively free on the edge of the area? Given this, how much damage could we do if that player is someone who can shoot such as Sessegnon, as opposed to Danny Rose?

I know he wasn’t great last season, but I’m genuinely excited to see Sessegnon in a Spurs shirt; I think Poch is going to help him become a special player.

Twin Stephen hasn’t got his own thread that I can see. Are we still anticipating a double deal as early itk suggested? Recent insight and those links only seem to mention Ryan.

The one thing that I find particularly exciting about him is his intelligence. For such a young player he has already developed a good level of maturity and reading of the game - he has good instinct in popping up in the right areas and I think he's quite good positionally defensively too.

Poch shouldn't find it too hard to help him develop

I hope we sign Stephen and loan him back to Fulham for the season. Stephen was said to be ahead of Ryan before he suffered a serious injury. Stephen is versatile able to play full back, central defence and holding midfielder. I would love us to sign the pair. There are reports that Fulham would like Josh Onamah and Nkodou so if those players are willing to step down a division but remain living in the capital that would help towards a third of any fee imo. I'd offer Carter Vickers too.

I have doubts we were ever in for him. Didn't really seem to make sense considering we potentially have 3 right backs competing for one spot next season.

He isn't just a RB is he? Never seen him play so only going on reports. Can play CB and also as a CM

Cant see him being involved with the first team of we do sign him.

I'm sure he would go into the u23's or something and Ryan would be with the first team.

Scott Parker being at Fulham has to give us some benefit? He knows the younger spurs players as well. So we can loan them some. Soften the blow.

It seems like Poch's full backs primary job is to be high up the pitch and attack anyway. I think Sess can be coached the defensive side and be an asset going forward. I don't think Jordi Alba is great at defending but if the team your playing for dominates possession mostly then you probably don't need to be.

The last time we bought just one half of a set of twins didn't end up so well as Roger Morgan soon became a crock and never materialized his potentials. How time flies; that was almost half a century ago.

Excited about this signing if it comes off. Think he will turn in to a left back with poch's guidance. Reminds me a bit of ashley cole, when he came on the scene he was a winger. He had to learn the position but turned out to be one of englands best left backs in my time even tho i hated him at goons and chelsea. Hope we get him signed
