“Ryan Sessegnon’s potential move to Tottenham has stalled amid doubts over the future of Mauricio Pochettino, Football Insider understands.”

Didn’t Wayne Veysey used to write for Goal and have pretty good Spurs info?
FootballInsider247 has published about 9,000,000 stories this window so far, almost all of them trash. Regardless of the writer for my money they are six feet under ground in the "do not trust" graveyard.

They've written like 10 bullshit stories about the Sess deal being close and now it hasn't happened yet, they are making up more bullshit to cover themselves.

Is Sess all that? I’ve only seen him play 3 or 4 times in the prem and he didn’t strike me as a cut above. It we are looking at c£45m then are we not paying for the fact he’s young and British. Could we not pick up equally talented kids abroad in the same position? If he’s mustard then great but like I say I’ve not seen anything too special in him personally. I’d much rather we spent on the right side of defence and in the middle of the park from front to back

1. Incredible championship season at 17 yo
2. I doubt we pay 45mil, unless its a success (loaded clauses)
3. We need homegrown youngsters

He's only 19 ffs, just playerd his first season in the Premier League. Why do people assume all youngsters will do what Alli did in his first season? People are far too quick to judge youngsters. One thing is for sure and that is Poch has a good eye for young talent. He will see the potential this kid has. There's also no way we're spending 45m on him with only 1 year on his contract.

Pathetic isn't it. He's still 2 years younger than when Didier Drogba signed his first ever professional contract.

We have to have English players, it's just part of the rules.

But just to add, Sess is a cut above, he won championship player of the year aged 18.
