Would like to see Southgate pick him as a left wing back for England, will then give good gauge of how he does there.

That's true a lot of the time, but there are a number of absolutely crucial games each year where we need fullbacks who are top defenders. We saw what happened when we played Son at LWB v Chelsea for instance. Against our top 4 rivals and in the knockout stages of the CL there will be teams who would target any weaknesses in that area IMO.
Thats where the 3 badass CBs come in handy.

They do, but we have to sacrifice an attacking MF to play that way and sometimes we do need a back 4. It all just strengthens my belief that we should give Toby his bumper contract and get him onboard for a few more seasons. It may be seen as rewarding his alleged bad behaviour, but a player with his class should really be a very big part of our plans moving forward.

I'm all for Toby here for the long term. One of my favorite players on the team. When I see Sess and think of what he could be, we have badass AM options, what if Sess could grow into a Marcelo type player at the LB/LWB spot? Real Madrids attack is so much more dangerous with how much can provide from the fullback spot. Now I know Marcelo is one of the best fullbacks of all time but maybe Sessegnon has that sort of potential.

That would be my vision/hope for the player at least.
