Rose: playing at Wembley no longer feels like an honour

I wish Rose would maybe wait to play a few games before he rushed back into another interview, I don't think he's taken into account the cost of the Southampton tickets (FUCKING CAT B?) and he needs to appreciate around this time of the year it's hard for fans to afford to go to so many games. Maybe consider it from the fans perspective that if Levy and the board would not charge so fucking much to play southampton at home it'd be likely be different. It's not good enough to be quickly rushing in a quick line about fans travelling followed by complaining how flat it is.

What a difference in ideas about Wembley from Danny and Posh, nothing against Rose and fair enough we all want to get back to Tottenham and I can understand his view too but like Posh says it’s a gift to play there.
not many players get to play at Wembley or people even get the chance to see a game there, so I would like that the players enjoy the experience and hopefully help us win some finals there too soon.

I'd wager that Poch feels the same, he just needs to spin it for the sake of PR.

If Utd are gonna be the fist match at NWHL then we only have Burnley, Bournemouth and Wolves at Wembley, we just need to get through these games.

Csnt help but think that playing in our new home is gonna give the club, the fans and the players such a lift that I think you'll see such a different team to what we're seeing now.

Absolutely right. Get a great February under out belt, get confidence soaring and we could be in for a storming end to the season. The squad has been growing in stature week by week since our poor start - not just the odd player, but all of them. Instead of wilting they proved their resilience. My confidence remains high.

I think most people probably don't want to be playing there. But honestly, moaning about it, as a player aint gonna gain anything whatsoever. I don't doubt the question was loaded and asked by a journo who is aware of Danny's honest rep.

It's not like Levy and the club don't want us to move in, they're doing everything they can.

The publicity has been horrible, but mainly from a fan point of view.

I thought the pitch was brilliant last season, so they can make the effort if they want.
This season it has been a disgrace compared to its historical sacred high standards. It is a poor pitch by any standards.
So it could hardly be any honour to play on that, but I'm not sure that was the point Rose was making.

When these gridirons are splattered all over a pitch, and the grass ripped to shreds then there isn't really a choice - it has to be relaid like last season. I'm sure they could have made time as it only takes a few days. Maybe they could have rescheduled their celebrity kick arounds and other nonsense.
I'm weird wanting things like that I guess.
