In May 1977, Lynsey de Paul came a creditable second when she sang 'Rock Bottom' at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Also in May 1977, Tottenham sadly came a less than creditable twenty-second in the league. Consequently, we finished 'Rock Bottom' and were relegated.

Now I'm not for a moment suggesting that if Ms De Paul had sung a ditty called 'comfortably mid-table', we'd have been all right that year, but, somehow, in the deep recesses of my brain, the 8 year-old me still blames her for our fate and I have cursed the De Paul name ever since.

So it's a 'no' from me...

This guy is silky, very skillful and is a good playmaker. He predominantly plays as a LWF but can play as a number 10. But's not the fastest and I would have doubts over his skills in the PL. I also don't believe this link at all.

I doubt he is on Pochs list and I doubt Levy would sanction the kind of cash being touted, right?

We're at an impasse.

Very inconsistent player from what I've seen but does have some quality when he's on. Wouldn't be blown away by this but wouldn't hate it either

Seems like a Barkley kind of player. Maybe Poch see’s him as a CM Dembele replacement too? If this is even anywhere near true, that is.

I like the look of him from the Video clip, he reminds me of Son and looks like he could play in any of our forward positions.

I don't follow the Italian league anymore so I've never heard of him. Have to admit I laughed when I saw his name.

With the way our transfer policy is these days I will not be surprised by us being linked with RuPaul next.

Just another of the scatter gun stories that come out at this time of year. Can't say we need someone like him unless someone like Lamela is off. We are more likely to be looking for a replacement for Eriksen, Alderweireld and Dembele.

Not going to bother starting a new thread but rumours are that we and Utd are looking at Steven Bergwijn (PSV).

According to whoscored he has 5+5 from 10 games playing as left FWD and 4+3 playing as right FWD.

Read that in the Sun in a waiting room this morning.

Fits Spurs MO more than anything else so far this window.

No idea if there is any truth behind it, and I am sure there are those here who watch dutch football, but his stats jump out at you.

Probably isn't up to the standard we require any more though ...

Nah, if he's going to Utd he clearly isn't good enough for us.
