Gutted by the news - RIP Ugo, what a man. Thoughts with his family. Let's do the business tomorrow for him.

Huge shock. He was doing great work with our youngsters after having a great career himself. RIP big man!

It's also a big loss in terms of black coaches and managers in the league - coincidentally with Dwight Yorke coming out yesterday and saying how difficult it is for black coaches and managers to get jobs, you've got to think that Ugo would've been a potential future league manager given the job he was doing at Spurs. He could've been a future icon for black British coaches.

Keyboard warriors out in force today, twats on Twitter having ago at Sky for "making" Merson go on air. I'm sure he wanted to go on and pay tribute to his friend.

Sad little people feeling the need to find something to be outraged about, nothing new tbh.

He always came across on TV and radio as a genuinely top bloke, a real shame.

Can only echo the vast majority of posts already made. The effect he had on our club in the 3 years he was with us will be felt for many years to come, and for that I'm truly thankful.

RIP Ugo, we're all proud of what you achieved

His legacy at the club will live on in those youngsters he helped develop.

RIP.

I find this scary and sad at the same time

For this to happen during training makes it worse, somehow. Makes me scared about playing football

Ugo was such a nice bloke as well and always spoke well

RIP Ugo

Hopefully his family take some small consolation in the fact he died doing what he loved, passing his experience and knowledge on to the Ugo's of tomorrow.

Daniel Levy: "This is an incredibly sad day for the Club and a tragic loss of a talented member of our Spurs family."
