Bales totally pissed off at the club (or coach) at the moment. His reaction after scoring yesterday showed how he felt about being left out from the start. Be surprised if he's still there next season.

He won't be, unless they appoint another manager quickly, Isco will leave too

29 with a poor injury record
on fabulous wages.
(reported 350.000 after tax
and a 1 billion buyout)
But the reports of his leaving Madrid
have been grossly exaggerated
for several years.

Check out my earlier post at 10.16 referring to neg repping.
.
I accidentally fat finger stuff too. I go back every couple of days and rectify.
.
Apologies in this instance. The system needs changing.

No problem and totally agree about neg reps

Neg reps are a pain in the backside. Absolves people from actually arguing their position. Lazy keyboard warrior stuff. They should be removed so dissenters to a post have to contribute instead of being one click wonders. It would take a pretty big thing for me to ever use them.

*cue the neg reps * :):):)(y)

His reaction after scoring was because of the threatened punishment for his celebration after scoring against Atletico.

Yeah seen that. The BBC suggest it's (initially) only until the end of the season, though.

So that leaves the summer for the press to continually link Poch with them....

After his CL win :sneaky:

Various Spanish media outlets say Mourinho is going back there, some say as soon as in 'a few hours'

Mourinho would be a knee jerk reaction.

His strength is in taking successful teams
and adding to them at great cost.
Real are in disarray
with its key players ageing
and need completely re-building.
Not one of Jose's strengths.
Would he even take it
on a short term basis?

Like Real his reputation is in tatters.
Not exactly a safe pair of hands.

Mauricio is building a team promoting young players
as Zidane and Solari have done.
The Galacticos era is long gone.
Not sure our man would be a good fit
at Real for this reason.

My opinion of Mourinho being a self harming masochist will be confirmed if he goes back there.

Ah but the money
like time a great healer.

None of what I said above
means it won't happen of course.
But they can afford to wait
until the end of the season
because they have nothing to play for
and look safe in third place.
so CL next season
is virtually assured.
Though its a funny old game
as we know
