His last three seasons in Spain he was only bettered by Ronaldo and Messi in the scoring stakes. Though I doubt the story I could see why they would consider him

Agree, I could see this happening - RM have used loan stop-gap strikers before, they had Adebayor for 1/2 season a couple of years back. They need backup and if Soldado is available and their other options don't materialise......... well, stranger things have happened.

You have to remember this is the same institution that loaned julien Faubert from a club of less stature than the dirt on Madrid's shoes; west ham. This story isn't THAT farfetched.

They've got Chicharito doing medical at the moment with a loan deal agreed - Soldado won't be going there.

Falcao to Man United means that that option is off for RM, likely they'll take Hernandez though. However, Soldado might end up at Monaco now. Also, it's less than sure Wellbeck will be allowed to go if Hernandez does, not that I'd want Spurs to pay a piss-taking £4m loan fee anyway.

Toronto is looking to offload Defoe. Offer them 1 million for him if Solly goes home.

Ramos got the Managers job after we sacked him so theres an example of 'stranger things have happened' if ever there was one.
Although imo that should fall into the 'Most shockingly fuckin dumb things to have happened' category along with sacking Redkapp, appointing AVB and the sacking of Curbishley. Oh and putting fried breakfast in a can Wtf?
