Good FA Cup round win playing a less talented team while not going into top gear.

Good Hattrick by Llorente and good Brace by Aurier and credit also to Walker-Peters who did well in an unfamiliar position, but I am giving my MOTM to Captain metronome - Dele Ali

Llorente man of the match because of the hat trick but thought everyone played well today especially Dele and Aurier, only Moura was below par. Glad we were able to give some a rest but would've preferred Kane to stay on the bench and for Dele to come off.

Gazzaniga's distribution is good and he's a lot better when playing out of the back than Lloris. Also good to see some of the kids getting a run out as well especially Skipp, Foyth, KWP and the kids off the bench.

Gotta to give it to Llorente for the hatrick, mad to think he has 9 goals for us and 6 have been in hatricks.
Surprised he went off after 70 and brought Harry on, despite him scoring was a pointless sub to make (what if he got injured?)
Impressive from everyone, especially Dele.

Gazziniga 7 Solid

Aurier 8 great goals, good going forward and defensively

Foyth 8 great with the ball, looked in control
Sanchez 7 good cover 1/2 wayward passes
Davies 7 Solid but some misplaced passes

KWP 7 looked good despite being out of position

Skipp 8 really grew into the game, our other midfielders could learn from those deep through balls
Alli 8 controlled possession

Son 8 MOTM great goals, lethal, made the difference
Lucas 6 poor game for him, should have scored

Llorente 8 took his goals well, proper performance that if he showed every week would be a great deputy to Kane

Subs N/A

Good performance all around. Llorente MOM for me due to the hat trick. Only one who struggled a bit was Foyth, IMO. Had some issues at the back but did well all in all. That was an easy walk in the park for our 2nd team side. On to Chelsea in the Carabao

Skipp for me. Not a great deal to do defensively but he never shirked a tackle and put some delicious passes through to the front players.

I was disappointed with Lucas performance tonight as well, wasn't his night

Yeah Llorente MOTM for me, thought he was doing well before the goals came to be honest.

Really disappointed in Lucas again. It's disappointing for him to not have a positive attacking influence against even a League Two side. His performance was very much the same as his performances against PL opposition, which doesn't send a great message. Just suggests that he's really struggling with his own personal game at the moment.

Hard to judge. Aurier, Davies, Sanchez, Dele, Son, Lucas and Llorente all did as you’d expect from top international footballers against lower league opposition, but it was the less experienced players who really impressed me. Gazzaniga, Foyth, Skipp, Walker-Peters all did themselves justice, as did Marsh and Eyoma off the bench.

Gazzaniga did well, kept focussed and was authoritative on the few occasions he needed to be.

Aurier scores twice, was fully committed at all times and was endlessly running up and down that flank and involving himself in attacks. I was desperate for him to get a third. Some lovely one touch football.

Foyth was composed, read well whatever he needed to and showed his touch and technique a few times.

Sanchez was good, never beaten in the air and showed his pace well too.

Davies did well, never looked threatened.

Kwp showed pace, technique and unpredictablity in attack while giving a bit of bite in defence.

Skipp, a couple of losses of focus aside, was clever and robust defensively, showed lovely reading of the game, pace off the ball and a decent array of passing, and played a superb pass for Llorente to score.

Dele was mature, responsible and intelligent. He set a good example for his junior partner by working hard off the bell throughout, and every time he was on the ball his tried to create, culminating in a lovely pass for Kane’s goal.

Lucas probably felt frustrated with a lot of what didn’t come off, but he kept working hard, kept trying to attack and be unpredictable and got his assist with a fine piece of football.

Son got two assists, one lovely goal and was irrepressible with his skill and endeavour. Line Dele and Lucas, set a great example by showing that this game was not beneath him.

Llorente got his hatrick, linked play very well and scored three lively goals.

Marsh really impressed me. Really elegant cameo, quick feet and thought, positive approach and probing in forward areas. I hope to see more.

Kane coming on and scoring was either hysterically cruel or cruelly hysterical. Lovely finish.

Eyoma had little to do but the one opportunity he did have to show his reading of the game, he came out and took the call well.

Watching Skipp, I think he is brilliant (esp with the assist). The thing he currently lacks is the strength. Sometimes he was physically bullied by the opponents (and of course, this is what the lower league players good at). But I am thinking of Winks and Son. Their debut season were also lacking of a bit of strength. Now we can see they are not afraid of any physical combat. I am really looking forward to Skipp with improved strength two years later.

Games like that are exactly why I’ll be gutted to see Llorente leave, even though it seems inevitable at this point.

Great footballer, model professional, no nonsense, delivers when needed and seems like an all round top bloke.

If that’s his last game in our shirt then what a way to bow out. Cheers, Nando. MOTM for me.

Yup, Skipp Foyth and KWP all need to work on their strength a bit, but when they do the three of them could be formidable.

great post, the way he congratulated Eyoma for making his debut was great. Seems like a great guy with loads of experience to have around the dressing room, low maintenance and still has class, hope he doesn't leave.

Not sure what’s happened to moura he actually looks 5 yards slower. Earlier in season he was devastating skipping past people for fun. Tonight was one moment where he was 1 on 1 with one of their 40 yr old defenders and simply couldn’t beat him, very odd.

Skipp was MotM for me.
He was decent enough to start with but when he switched from pure DM to progressive passer it changed the game.

To be fair to Lucas, he had to go via Birkenhead to get round the guy!
