I'm not a big Winks fan tbh but thought he done great today, him, Moura and Gazza were the best.
May i humbly ask why youre not a big fan of winks? I mean, whats missing in him that makes you not a big fan? He works his socks off, he plays neat and tidy football, he looks up and always wants to bring the ball forward, and most of all he's one of our own. Hmmm

Great - Gazza, Winks, Sanchez
Good - Moura
Ok - Davies (second half), Kane, Toby, Dele
Poor - Aurier, Toby, Eriksen

Subs all did ok, like what Fernando is doing at the minute, a nuisance.

Winks showed Eriksen up today. I’m assuming he’s struggling with injury because his performances have been way off what he’s capable of. Once he gets back on it we’ll be flying.

I always like the voting here. Other places would simply aware Kane the MOTM with two goals. Kane was great tonight, but winks and possible Gazza are more deserved.

Great to see winks starting to dominate games. Seems like he is fully fit now. If we could have a genuine box to box cm alongside him that would be a great mix

Very nice (8).......... Winks, Gazzaniga.Kane (Does what it says on the tin.)
Nice.(7)....................Sanchez, Moura,Toby
Not so nice(6)..........Dele,Eriksen, Son,
Not nice at all(5)......Aurier, Davies,

As Billy Nick once said of Jimmy Greaves.
''All he's done today is score 4 goals''.

Birdie - Gazzaniga, Winks, Kane
Par - Moura, Davies, Sanchez, Toby, Dele, Son, Lamela, Llorente, Trippier
Bogey - Eriksen, Aurier

I plumped for Gazzaniga MOTM because he made two tremendous saves and his kicking and throwing was good and proactive. But Winks was very impressive considering he was all but alone in central midfield and Kane obviously had the telling contributions when they mattered most.

Eriksen looks very off the pace and Aurier was extremely frustrating to watch, even though I can't remember any blatant mistakes apart from the one he screened out for a corner to PSV.

All the luck we've been without for the first three games shone upon us for the winner. Hope we can use it to kick on and smash Inter to bits in three weeks.

Problem with Aurier is that, unlike Walker, he’s nowhere near good enough going forward to mask his serious defensive ineptitude.

No point in wriggling through the last defender when his cross is either ending safely in the keeper’s hands or row Z

No one particularly abysmal. But still a few very wasteful and suspect pieces of play that do cast aspersions on proceedings.

Our team looks soooo much slower than I am used to seeing.

Thought Lamela and Llorente coming on really changed the game. Good subs. Llorente caused them some real problems.

Gazza strong contender for future #1.

Much much better from Winks who I think has been pretty dreadful for most of the season since returning from injury. Once again showing everyone just how good he can be. Lovely to see.

Kane did what Kane does.

Thought overall we were very wasteful and should’ve had the game wrapped up by half time. Much stronger team performance overall though and aside from our end product lacking a bit for much of the game we absolutely battered them.

Good performance from their keeper but we did make it too easy for him most of the time.

Am I the only one who thought Davies didn't play too bad, started off very poor, but did slowly grow into the game, and put in a lovely cross for the winner, obviously still a very limited player, but don't think he was poor
I am a very harsh critic of Davies, but I am not a idiot and he certainly grew into the game. In the second half it felt like he was everywhere on the left flank. Ran up to participate in the offense, quick to attack 2. balls and ran back to defend. This was the aggresive Davies of last season and not the p*ssy Davies of this season.

Despite the constant rotation, winning a game like that when it's your fourth important match in nine days is an great achievement, and all the squad and the manager deserve credit for what they've achieved.

A good performance against a decent team that got the early goal they could only have dreamed of, and then pulled everyone back behind the ball for almost the entire remaining 89 minutes. Many good teams would have struggled against that and failed.

Credit to them all but special mentions for Lucas, Harry and Harry, and Gazzaniga. And Sanchez, who put every ounce of ability and energy into it and held the back line like a hero when called on and everyone else was in the other half of the pitch. And could have had a goal too.

In the end, we won, and deserved to win. I'm proud of them.

This game also showed the importance of dele and eriksen, even though they are off form. They still find pockets of space and progress the ball in the final third and keep probing at the oppositions defense. They are both fantastic in half spaces and are so crucial to our game. The very best Spurs performances in the last 4 years have always been dele and eriksen in top form. If we keep playing them till they hit form then the payoff will be absolutely huge!
