Can you blame others calling us legends? Because that's I how I would describe our performance

With a weak midfield, where were Dele and Eriksen to help protect our defence which was so over stretched?
Why the fuck then did Poch bring on Llorente instead of Sanchez or Foyth when we didnt need to chase the game?
How many times were we dispossessed holding unto the ball too long without any urgency to pass?

I FUCKING LOVE VAR!! COME ON AJAX!!! COME ON YOU SPURS!!

(I wrote the crossed out bit before our 3rd goal!)

Absolute heroes.

Even if we had lost in the end. That effort they all put in. STILL some people started with the "legends" and "spursy" as soon as they scored.

Unbelievable game.

Can I just take a moment to commend the vision of Christian Eriksen.

To spot Aguero offside and bang that ball off the City player's shin to simultaneously waste time, demoralise City and win a free kick - there's not many players who'd have thought of that. Fucking brilliant.

:cautious:

Everyone gets 49 out of 10.

Fucking yesssssssss

Did anyone else switch it off when sterling ‘scored’, go and kick the living shit out of their sofa shouting ‘ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FUCKING CLEAR IT’ and then turn it back on a minute later to see it being reviewed by var? And then it was disallowed!!!! I didn’t even cheer, I was just literally trying to stay alive at that point.

Heroes.

Horrible performance and horrible game to watch, but all things considered with such a makeshift team you've got to be proud of all of them, even those who had a mare!

That was fucking lunacy.

This is what my heart rate monitor recorded today.
1)From 30minutes before the game.
2)To when city scored a 4th.
3)Measured over the match.

It wasnt pretty at times. But, when you have almost 0 central midfielders, first team.ones anyway, you can only do so much. When sissy went off I think my heart stopped. See above.

Genuinely hope he makes.a.swift recovery.

I didn't think we made enough of the counter attacking opportunities, Given the ridiculously high line they played at times. But, when you have no cm, you have limited options. Poch did what he could, although i'd have been more inclined to play skipp or foyth in the middle to make us more.like hard butter than warm margarine to slice through. Still, ground it out and off we go.

Saturday is going to be very, very tasty.

Oh and Pep, you're going to be in the semi final are you? Walker, did you 'have fun'?

Not sure I have ever seen a game like that but played a few as a kid in the playground.

We have been so incredibly unlucky with injuries in the two games but for once had the rub of the green. Great win without a midfield. Now if only we had one of The Silva’s or De Bruyne or Fernandinho how good would we be

My nerves 11/10.

Voting for Verts. Irrespective of the score he harried, drove them side and organised. Super leadership even when we conceded. Don't think you'll notice him drivunf the lines out from corners until the commemorative dvd comes out.

Also drunk so could have been someone else.
