Tricky one to judge really, odd performance from us.

Toby gets it for me, probably a 7 for his relatively steady performance but plus at least 2 points for launching the ball into the Thames during our celebrations after the goal. So much time for that level of petty shithousery.

Lloris 7
Toby 7
Verts 8
Sanchez 6
Rose 9 MOM
Trippier 5
Winks 8
Eriksen 7 only just, for the cross. Otherwise 6
Alli 7 only just, for the goal. Otherwise 6
Lamela 6
Llorente 5

Lot of poor performances today.
I think Trippier, Sanchez, Eriksen, Alli (if fit) and Lamels are gonna have to step ot up a notch on Thursday if we're to have any hope of progressing to Final.

Llorente, Trippier and Lamela were awful
Lamela had one of those games where he was forcing the play too much, too much pace on his passes. I think that was also partly due to the set up with Llorente as striker. There wasn't enough movement up front, spaces created, passing channels that open up when we have Kane and Son up front splitting defensive lines. That's when Lamela thrives.

Tbf, think it affected everyone including Eriksen, who also took plenty of poor options by taking pot shots on goal instead of alternating the threat with crosses to take advantage of Llorente's aerial strength.

Lloris 7

Trippier 6
Toby 7
Sanchez 7 - dealt much better with mitrovic 2nd half after a shaky 1st half
Verts 8 motm. That block at the end of the 1st half swung it for me.
Rose 7

Winks 8. Much better 2nd half. Vital goal.
Eriksen 6. Great cross for equaliser but short of best.
Alli 7

Lamela 5
Llorente 4. Terrible

Dier 6
Gkn 7. Delicious ball for the winner!

Winks knits it together well at the back, but I can't remember him passing forward.
He was absolutely no threat at all, until he turned up at the end.

Rose was aggressive and was unlucky with his shot, but he just can't cross.

Sanchez just about won the battle with that fat turd, and did well not to react, but given the gap in quality of the two,
why was this even a notable contest?

Rose or Sanchez for me. Rose never stopped trying and drove forward

Sanchez was excellent second half. He marshalled Mitrovic so well. We have seen Sanchez struggle against strong boys before. He matched him all the way.

Special mention to Winks, he was always available for a pass and didn't shy away. It wasnt pretty at times and wasteful, but when Dier came in he let the shackles off a bit and made a nice run.

We are gonna have more games like this now. This will be a massive test of character. There is a chance we could drop out the top 4, league cup and champions league with our injury galore, but victories like this will give is confidence we need

We were very lucky to come away with 3 points. Plenty of pressing second half, but so many stupid passes into players on the edge of the box with defenders all over them.
A couple of decent stops from Lloris. I usually stick up for Trippier, but he has given the ball away so many times in the last few games. He gets a 5 from me, Llorente gets a 4 he was poor, didn't hold the ball up and missed 2 sitters. Lamela also gets a 4 , he ran around but dribbled into trouble and gave the ball away all the time. everyone else gets a 6. Sanchez wasn't good first half but got better as the game went on - didn't deserve the booking, but did well to wind up mitrovic in the second half. Rose got forward and was unlucky not to score. Good cross for Dele's goal from Eriksen but not a great performance. Same from Dele, well taken goal, but little else of note. Winks did ok, but nearly all side to side, had the energy to press forward to score the winner.

Rose Toby Winks and Lloris superb today.

Sanchez second half was probably the best I've seen of him after a shaky first half, made Mitrovic resort to cheating and even then couldn't get anything going. Wonderful stuff.

Lamela and Trippier both terrible.

Llorente, somehow, even worse.

Rest were meh or just above meh.

MOTM to Winksy for the goal.

Lloris - 8 Saved us today
Toby - 8 Rock at the back
Sanchez - 5 Bullied by Mitrovic
Jan - 6 Decent but not at his best yet
Trippier - 10 Brilliant today. Absolutely brilliant. Best RB ever. Amazing at the back.. Excellent player.
Winks - 8 Game winner. Played well
Eriksen - 6 Thank god someone took my advice at half and chartered a jet to bring him back from Spain for a few more months
Rose - 8 MOTM. By far our best LB.
Dele - 6 Meh performance but got the equalizer. We are also fucking screwed if hes done for a bit.
Lamela - 5 Not his best at all but getting back into fitness
Llorente - 5 Yikes

Dier - 7 Missed you
GKN - 8 Took the chance and ran with it. Way to make an impact, GKN. Well played.

Im switching it up and will just praise a player to no end until hes finally dropped
Its funny how we see things differently. I thought Sanchez owned him!

I just can't understand why Ranieri took off Babel. They completely lost the threat after the sub. If he wanted to put Sessegnon on, just took off Schürrle
Said it interview after the match that he is not ready to go longer from a fitness standpoint.

First half was about as bad as it gets. Across the pitch we just hadn't turned up, were getting outfought and lacked a bit of desire, and could/maybe even should have been a goal or two more down.

Second half multiple things started happening. We dialled it up a little, Fulham increasingly lost any ambition to their play and dropped and dropped giving us more territory, and ultimately they were punished for it. A bit of a smash and grab, there was some soft defending that helped with both our goals in all truth, but another example that this side has a bit of grit and determination about it and can scrap for the result, even with things stacking up against us.

Lloris - Made some good saves when needed, especially first half. Game could have been beyond us without him.

Alderweireld - First half was some of the worst stuff I have seen from him. Lost all his positional sense and made a lot of bad reads. Got a bit better as the game went on, but still not a great day at the office.

Sanchez - Probably his worst game for us. Yeah he got a bit better when Mitrovic got more interested in the handbags rather than schooling him at football, but for a good hour he was being made to look a fool.

Vertonghen - Pretty solid game. Came forward with the ball well two or three times.

Trippier - Defensively no real issues. Was shut down in attack and offered very very little.

Winks - Popped up with the winner. Even before that I thought he was up there as our best player in that game, good energy and kept us ticking over.

Eriksen - A bit subdued throughout I thought, and some abysmal set piece deliveries. Did provide the assist for the equaliser though.

Rose - Really good energy and kept providing our one real outlet. You hope one day that a bit more consistent end product will come about though.......

Lamela - Really poor game. Worked hard enough but with the ball his work was either a) pointless or b) wasteful.

Alli - Didn't think he had a good game either really. Personally I don't want him coming deep getting on the ball, what he does is slow and usually pointless. Get up in the final third into the box, that's where your talents and instinct are, boy. The one time he seemingly did, he grabbed the equaliser. He too though now looks like he is injured, so another problem to deal with.....

Llorente - What to say....... There was a close up replay of his reaction after the own goal, and you could just see it in his eyes that it basically crushed him. Personified that for the rest of the game, touch letting him down a few times, went into his shell a bit, and then his headed chance towards the end he isn't trusting instinct - tried to overthink it and was far too clever, trying to skim it into the corner, rather than just putting his head through it and powering the ball into the net. About as nightmarish a day as he could have had really, at the worst possible time.

I will say though that I saw many times in the game where a ball has been played into his feet around the box, he's back to goal pinning a defender, and our players are operating like a 30 yard exclusion zone around him..... We all know what he can, and cant, do. If you don't get men right in and around him then you have no chance of getting anything from his type of striker. We've had seasons now of Janssen/Llorente in this vein, at what point do professional footballers/coaches work it out........?

Subs:

Dier - Ok.
Nkoudou - Stood up a decent ball into the box, and look what can happen..... Maybe he should be out teaching some of our other players this trick.

Lloris... Good stuff 7

Trippier...hmmmm. He played those stupid cross field passes again, like he was making a point. Wasn't awful but nothing really good 5

Rose 7 good work, how he got booked for being fouled I don't know. Ref was awful.

Verts, Toby and sanchez... All good, sanchez handled mitrovic very well and again, ref is an idiot to book him. All 7's

Winks.. Love him. Not his best today but still deserves mom 8

Eriksen..under par, but what a sweet cross for alli... A lucky 7

Alli scored the equaliser.. Also a lucky 7

Lamela, was frustrating today, but tried hard 6

Lol rente (no spelling mistake) I'm struggling to even give him a point. He did one control and lay off in midfield to alli that i recall. Other than that? I really don't know. Who closes their eyes when heading a ball. 2 on a plate chances and the geezer closes his eyes... One his attempt was with his shoulder. Absolutely terrible show and no I can't support him playing Thursday. He was that bad. Awful... A generous 2.

Georgy KN peach of a cross, but I was so pissed off at the game and the ref I never knew he was on. 6

Dier same didn't know he was on. 6

Genuinely not going all Francis Gibbs here, but that's a pretty kind spin on Lamela's performance today. He was right on a par with Llorente in just having a terrible game this afternoon. I agree that the other forward players weren't particularly at it to help him out either, but most of his passes and touches were way, way off and putting aside the performance of the rest of the team he personally was not at the races today.

Quite a few players weren't really that good today and I can't be arsed to vote on MOM. That said, I was impressed by Winks, he played DM most of the game, and I noticed that after the first 15 minutes or so (I think), the Fulahm forwards stopped pressing him. They cottoned on that he could swivel and out-turn them. Once Dier came on he was must more progressive and, as we saw. started the move to the second goal, that he scored. For a relatively young player he really has so much potential.

OK, I've convinced myself, he gets MoM for me!

Winks became more of a threat once Dier came on and he was released from his defensive shackles. He did his defensive job very well and his attacking job even better. He is too often unfairly criticized for not making enough incisive passing but that is because he has been playing deeper. If Dier doesn’t come on then maybe he wouldn’t have made that run but he did and I’m very happy for him. He is going to be a very important player for us and hopefully with this performance following his excellent second half against United people are starting to see it. MOTM in both games for me.

Small thing, but Sanchez booking was infuriating, and one of the most absurd things I've seen all season.

He did absolutely nothing wrong, really weak referee.

I thought that the only thing i can think of is when that happend Sanchez moved backwards into him maybe what the ref thought he saw?
I'll have to look at it again Cant see much in it myself

The rose dive booking was a joke tho
