A very hard game where two personnel made it more difficult than it should be in my opinion.

1) Craig Pawson - A game officiated by a more competent referee would have seen us winning more emphatically. It was not just against us as Fulham too should have had a blatent penalty in the 1st half. Overall his very poor decisions weighted more against us than Fulham.

2) Mauricio Pochetino - His game management and effective use of the players available to him is still questionable. Playing Llorente was like giving Fulham a one extra man advantage, he was that bad. Seriously if we played that game without him and played only ten men, I swear we would have done better. The two goals they scored (one disallowed) were due to him. Then Poch made an absolute stinker of a substitution, taking off Llamela instead of Llorente!

The players that pleased me more than ever and stood up for us were Sanchez against that pr*** Mitrovic, and Rose against Christie. It was a pleasure seeing Rose jumping in to defend Sanchez against Mitrovic (Not that Sanchez could not look after himself).

I hope Levy loosen the purse strings now, now that another soldier Dele will be out with what seems a ham string problem.

But our other Harry was the one who in my opinion being the shortest on the pitch stood the tallest! My MOTM

A very good game another 3 points. Onward and upwards COYS

Lloris: 8 - thought he was very good. Made some smart stops and got out early when Mitrovic was prowling

Trippier: 5 - didn’t do anything either end

Alderweireld: 6 - did a lot, had to cover Tripps most of the game

Sanchez: 7 - torn on this one. he really suffered first half but thought was immense in the second and stood up to that thug. Booked for being fouled.

Vertonghen: 7 - looking better

Rose: 8 - only one always looking to make something happen.

Eriksen: 6 - would have been lower without assist. just ineffective that deep. also took the worst corner I’ve ever seen.

Winks: 8 - done midfield by himself til Dier come on. proper spurs. love him.

Lamela: 5 - bit naff. not a great run atm.

Dele: 5 - didn’t connect with the big man up top at all. not a lot came off for him

Llorente: 4 - eesh

Dier: 6 - so nice to have a DM for once
Nkoudou : 10 - why not

rose was f awful. obviously had his moments both offensively n defensively but if he is to play wingback get him to make runs n play through balls to him what's the point of giving him the ball with a defender close to him: no point at all.

Winks man of the match but Rose also played well. Everyone else was either poor or abysmal (Tripper, Llorente, Lamella etc). Special mention to N'Koudou for the cross and he's worth a start against Palace if not sold by then.

One thing is for certain, we can't go on like this till Son returns. Levy needs to get the f'ing cheque book out. I'm hoping this win hasn't papered over the cracks and he thinks investment isn't required.

Hugo 8 - class saves

Rose 8 motm for me. Kept trying, working in what was a terrible team display mostly

Vert 7
Toby 7

Sanchez 5 - worse I've seen him play. Ref didn't help though. He could've been stabbed my mittovic and the ref would book Sanchez and accuse him of having a fake blood squib under his shirt

Trip - 5 offered nothing

Lamela 5 offered nothing
Winks 7 match winner, last midfielder alive
Eriksen 6 - so so
Dele 6 apart from goal not great

Llorente 2 - I'll just be kind and say he's obviously extremely rusty. Caked in iron oxide

Winks deserves it for 2nd half, in 1st like everyone was awful, but i gave it to nkoudou as without him crossing beautifully we’d probably be having a different conversation...

Lloris - 8 - A really important save first half kept us in it.
Trippier - 6 - Very poor on the ball again.
Toby - 7 - Sound
Sanchez - 8 - Very strong and stood up to that cheating bully Mitrovic. Not sure how he got booked, maybe for making Mitrovic look so stupid.
Verts - 7 - His body language worried me first half, but after making a great goal saving tackle he improved.
Rose - 8 - Grew stronger as the game went on and he has an attitude of 'I am going to make something happen' through sheer force of will. He could have crossed the ball a lot better today but never gave up forcing the issue on the left.
Winks - 8 - Another who grew stronger as the game went on and what a way to win a game!
Dele - 8 - Scored and looked like a senior player throughout today. Keep forgetting he is only 22. Gutted he pulled his hamstring as that is probably at least 4 weeks out.
Eriksen - 7.5 - Quality assist for Dele's goal.
Lamela - 7 - Shockingly bad first half, but improved second half and never stops wanting the ball in the last third.
Llorente - 4 - Really poor today. Not just the own goal or the two missed headers (both looked easier to score), but his inability to find a team mate with simple passes or hold the ball up.

Dier - 7 - Not much to do.
GKN - 7.5 - What a cross.

Lloris,,,,,,,,,,7+..........Early save crucial.Done good overall. One v. poor kick out. .
Toby..........7+..........Bossed the back line.
Sanchez....7............Iffy first half but took the fight to Mitrovich well in the second.
Verts..........7+.........Composed and positive.
Trippier.....5............Poor going forward and some dodgy giveaways.
Rose..........8............Love this boy. Very Positive, feisty. My MOM
Eriksen......7- ..........Some neat link-up play but not sparkling wine. More flat beer.
Winks.........8............The human dynamo, obviously sharing. whatever Sissoko's on.
Lamela.......6............Poor today. Head down and not fully in control
Dele............7............Thought he played well mainly. We will miss him
Llorente.....4.............Awful. Should have scored two. How he got the og I have no idea. Good luck I suppose

Gritty ugly win. Still get 3 points for it. Seemed to lack energy especially first half.

Lloris for me. Made 2 fantastic stops against Babel and Schurrle and was solid throughout He kept us in the game in the first half.
