If we had taken our chances and did not turn off in the second half, we would have been 3rd in the Premier League. Really pissed off to be honest. It seemed that 3rd place meant more to us than the players, who played like they were on a Sunday kick about in the park.

No one gets MOTM for me, fuck 'em

Oh who gives a fuck. Saying ‘fuck ‘em’ to the same players who just got into a CL final. Pathetic.

In my view you want to win every game no matter what. With more effort and urgency that would have been an easy three points and third place. Why not go for it?

Pathetic is you being satisfied with that mediocre match and performance that we should have won, putting us to third.

I did say fuck 'em but if you do not understand the difference of me saying that to describe their attitude and performance towards this particular match as oppose to the overall season, then that's on you

Well, it's better cause it makes the decline of the team undeniable.

We've lulled Liverpool into a false state of superiority with that performance (and the last 12 games). Now we can unleash the real Spurs in Madrid. Stunning plan. Wish I'd thought of it.

To be honest, I have really toned down my initial retort or else I would have been kicked off this forum, but do me a favour and put me on ignore so you will not have another reason or excuse to comment on my opinions.
It's a public internet forum, people comment on opinions, that's how it works. I thought what you said was pathetic, you thought what I said was pathetic.

Shit performance. Can't believe we played so shit in second half. Started well but then shocking the way we didn't show up until they went 2-1 up. We just don't play for more than 30 minutes at the moment.

This is why we picked up 10pts from last 36pts. We have not been blown away by anyone. This is what pisses me off about our league form.

Also this wasn’t just one game was it, the last 2-3 months barring the Man C games and Ajax away have been exceptionally poor. What was it 10 out of 36 points? That just simply isn’t good enough. Yes we’ve finished in the top 4 but we were cruising at one point and only just scraped it in the end. Other than the cup final our mentality and effort has been poor in the EPL and we cannot under any circumstances carry this approach into the new season otherwise we can forget about another top 4 finish and even potentially a dreaded Europa spot. Draw a line under this EPL season, overhaul the squad and look to push on next season.

That 2nd half was painful to watch might need to bleach my eyes. So much dead weight in this team that needs to moved on. However, we didn't lose our last match in front of our crowd. Really couldn't pick a MotM, but these days it is usually Sissoko by default for his relentless effort. 4th secured pissed we didn't capitalize on 3rd , but CL final is our main focus now and than a squad rebuild similar to our stadium.

Getting through that game without any injuries to key players, many of whom wouldn't have been risked if not for our squad issues, was more important than anything. Hopefully, that was accomplished. We have a huge, fresh, juicy fish to fry come June 1.
Edit: reading my mind @Sophos151
I posted just after you.

2nd 3rd 4th doesn’t fucking matter making sure we were in the top 4 was all that counts today. We need to improve over the summer big style. This was never gonna be a classic sadly.

Really pissed we didn’t put in the extra effort to secure 3rd place. Once again, as for most of the last 3 months, Poch has sat on the sidelines watching as we have put in a lackluster performance and done nothing to improve things. We may be in the CL Final but for the last 3 months or so in the league he has been unable to motivate the players which is worrying. We can’t put all the the blame on fatigue other teams(Liverpool, City) have played as many games.
