Boy, that one was close and very uncomfortable.

But another 3 points. At least for Saturday West Ham do not usually park buses, but saying that, we need to be more clinical

Eriksen MOTM with a super strike!

A lot of players looked tired but we got the 3 points which is the main thing.

Eriksen for the goal. Shoutout to Rose for going for it the entire game.

The rest, meh.

Eriksen by far - the only player out there with a semblance of a footballing brain trying to make things happen and ultimately took matters into his own hands with a thunderbastard!

Not a game we'll remember fondly - 3 points, no injuries (it would seem) and we move on.

Horrible game. Eriksen MOM - kept trying with very little going on in front of him. Rose worked and fought hard but my God, his delivery into the box is utter shite.

I know it’s what Brighton and lower teams fighting relegation do but that second half from Brighton was disgusting

Eriksen MOTM.

Thought Trippier was poor again. Had ample opportunities to deliver a quality ball which he's capable of but failed. So much hesitancy.

It frustrates me because Poch has shown so much faith in him and he continues to show very little fight against his poor form.

How the fuck KWP failed to get ahead of him today I'll never know.

Rose was great, Verts too, Toby decent, quality finish from Eriksen, everyone else woeful, forgotten now, onto the next one

I agree, Trips gets so much hype about his crossing, but cant remember the last time he put a good cross in

Eriksen MOTM, not just for the goal but for trying all game to unlock that defence. Not a lot came off but he kept trying and trying and it was fitting that he got the goal.

Rose, Jan and Toby all did well, the latter two so high up the pitch they were basically attacking midfielders at some points.

None of the other forward-minded players deserve much credit. Too slow and stagnant.

When he’s on form, he hits first-time crosses at pace. He wasn’t doing that this evening, not that I think an accurate cross would have ended up anywhere other than over the bar (thanks to our finishing).

I think poch got it all wrong with the selection of llorente. I would have gone with another midfield player and played son and moura as 2 strikers up front. Or even Jansen simply because he is more mobile than llorente and is prepared to drop off or run the channels.

Awful game, awful tactics from Brighton. It highlights the fact that we lack the top quality ball players with the guile to unlock these teams.

Lloris -7 nothing to do

Toby - 7.5 nothing to do defensively but one of our better attackers
Vertonghen 7 - nothing to do

Rose -8 great defending the rare times we needed, and good attacking play , aggression and energy all night

Trippier -3 dear oh dear. I've never been a fan but I recognized he was at least good on the Ball, now he's good at nothing. Even tripped over his own feet on The 30 min Mark which summed him up.
Can't defend, can't pass, can't cross, slows down the play by just standing with the ball instead of hitting a first time cross. Can't beat a Man, didn't make any overlapping runs .
Regressed beyond belief without competition of walker

Wanyama -5 not his game, no defending to do so exposed his poor ability on the Ball

Eriksen 8 - match winner, great goal, kept trying to find passes but unfortunately everyone ahead of him bar son were static

Dele -6 dilly dallys on the Ball way too long. Making dembele look like Messi . One nice bit of skill that nearly resulted in a goal. Not having s great season

Lucas 5- meh, the most hot and cold player of all time. Couldn't beat a Man, none of his crosses beating the defender, one decent shot/cross

Llorente -2 literally nothing, gets a 2 for wearing the shirt . Not even being cruel, there was zero worth mentioning good or bad for 90 minutes. Could've just been life sized cut out

Son - 6 huffed and puffed but was getting no joy

Part of it was the fact that they had 3 players on the edge of the 6 yard box against one attacker. He crosses when there is space in behind or more to aim at.

Not defending him, it just wasn't as simple as him not crossing the ballm

Lloris 7 nout to do but made an important punch when their player had a free header

Trippier 3 Could I give him any lower? All you need to do is compare him to Rose, KWP should've played
Toby 7 went very close with his effort off the post!
Verts 6 not much to do
Rose 9 made things happen! One of the few taking the game to Brighton!

Wanyama 6 sloppy at times but marshalled any counters well
Alli 6 little room to work lovely touch in the box for the shot that was cleared off the line otherwise quiet
Eriksen 9 MOTM what a goal! Only creative player who could pick a pass

Son 6 looked dangerous only a handful of times, fatigue maybe?
Lucas 6 not a game for him, little impact
Llorente 4 as bad as Trippier, did he touch the ball all game?A marked man but so off the pace

Who the fcuk is Jensen? I want to give MoM to Janssen. 80 minutes no goal. On comes Vinny and it's 1-0 at 90 mins. Legend. Just his mere presence enough.

Eriksen closer second for using Vinny's aura to score
